Proverbs 8:34-36 Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my door posts. For whoever finds me finds life, and will obtain favor from Yahweh. But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul. All those who hate me love death.” Psalm 84: 11 For Yahweh God is a sun and a shield. Yahweh will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly. 12 Yahweh of Armies, blessed is the man who trusts in you. 1 John 5:5 Now who is the one overcoming the world, except the one believing that Jesus is the Son of God?

ORDER BOOK Dead sea scrolls Fragment 4Q521
This was found in cave 4. The great debate by Grant R.Jeffrey. Page 64 to 65.
This scroll declares that the Messiah will display supernatural powers identical to those described in the Gospels
The heavens and the earth will obey his Messiah  the sea and All that is in them.
He will not turn aside from the commandments of the Holy ones.
Take strength in His mighty work all yea who seek the Lord.
Will ye not find Him with hope in your hearts.
Surely the Lord will seek out the pious and will call the righteous by name.
His Spirit will hover over the poor by his might will He restore the faithful
He will glorify the pious on the throne of the eternal kingdom.
He will release the captives ,  make the blind see , raise up the down trodden.
Forever I will cleave to Him against the most powerful and I will trust and trust in His loving kindness and in His goodness forever.
His Holy Messiah will not be slow in coming . And as for the wonders  that are not the work of the lord.
When He , that is the Messiah , comes then He will heal the sick , resurrect the dead  , and to the poor announce glad tidings
He will the Holy ones , He will do  all of it.

The Messianic parallels between this scroll  and the teachings of the New Testament are astonishing.
This 2,000 years old Jewish Essene document from Qumran reveals a number  of prophecies about the coming Messiah  that are virtually identical to Christian teachings about Jesus Christ as detailed in the four Gospels.

1) The Messiah is divinely supernatural  , not just a man like Moses -----The heavens and the earth will obey his Messiah ( Psalm 110:1-7. Ephesians 1:20-22 )
2) He is righteous -------- He will not turn aside from the commandment of the Holy  Ones ( Isaiah 53:9 )
3)  He will rule forever ---- the throne of the eternal Kingdom ( Isaiah 9:6-7 , Revelation 21:3-5 )
4) He will act as the High Priest  in the year of jubilee ----- He will release the captives ( Isaiah 61:1 ; Luke 4:18 )
5) He will miraculous heal the blind --make the blind see ( Isaiah 42:7 ; John 9:25-33 )
6) The Messiah will supernaturally  heal the sick and resurrect the dead ( Isaiah 35:5-6 ; Matthew 11:4-6 )
7) He will cone down from Heaven with a heavenly army--------He will lead the holy ones ( Deuteronomy 33:2; Revelation 19:14-15 )
So the text that is the subject of this article  (4Q521 is speaking  of a single Messiah.
The Messiah of our text is thus much closer to the Christian Messiah.
This outside of the Bible is so clear as to The Lord Jesus being The Messiah.

The great debate by Grant R.Jeffrey.What's the odds of these 17 prophecies in the old testament about the coming Messiah.
1) He would be born in Bethlehem and be descended from the tribe of Judah probability 1 chance in 2,400 Micah 5:2 fulfillment Matthew 2:1
2)A messenger would precede the Messiah 1 chance 20. Isaiah 40:3 fulfillment Matthew 3:1-2
3) He would enter Jerusalem on a colt 1 in 50 Zechariah 9:9 fulfillment  Luke 19:35-37
4) He would be betrayed by a friend  1in 10 Psalm 41:9  fulfillment Matthew 26:47-48
5)) His hands and feet would be pierced  1 in 100 Psalm 22:16 fulfillment Luke 23:33
The combined probability of these Five prediction's ( 10 x 24 million ) is now 1 chance in 2.4 billion
6) His enemies would wound the Messiah 1 chance in 10 Isaiah 54:5 fulfillment Matthew 27:26
7) He would be betrayed for 30 pieces of silver 1 in 50 Zechariah 11:12 fulfillment Matthew 26:15
8 ) He will be spit upon and beaten 1 in 10 Isaiah 50:6 fulfillment Matthew 26:27
9) His betrayal money would be thrown in the Temple and then be given to buy a potter's field 1 in 200 Zechariah 11:13 fulfillment Matthew 27:5-7
10) He would be silent before His accuses 1 in 100 Isaiah 53:7 fulfillment Matthew 27:12-14
11) He would be crucified with thieves 1 chance 100  Isaiah 53:12 fulfillment Matthew 27:38
12) People would gamble for His garments  1 chance in 100 Psalm 22:18 fulfillment John 19:23-24
13) His side would be pierced 1 in 100 Zechariah 12:10 Zechariah 12:10 fulfillment John 19:34
14) None of His bones broken 1 chance 20 Psalm 34:20 fulfillment John 19:34
15) His body would not decay 1 chance in 10,000  Psalm 16:10 fulfillment Acts 2:31
16) He would be buried in a rich man's tomb. 1 chance in 100 Isaiah 53:9
17) Darkness would cover the earth 1 chance 1,000.  Amos 8:9
What are the chances that all 17 of these predictions occurred in the life of a single man rather by the divine plan of God .
The combined probability against these 17 predictions occurring is equal to
1 chance in 480 billion  x 1 billion x 1 trillion or
1 chance in 480,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
In other words there is only 1 chance in 480 billion x 1 billion x 1 trillion that the Old Testament Prophets could have accurately predicted these 17 specific prophecies.  The great debate by Grant R.Jeffrey.

A comparison of the lives of Moses and Jesus reveals fitty elements common to both lives , many of which were beyond the ability of any human to control.
Consider the unusual multiple roles that Moses and Jesus both played  : prophet , priest , lawgiver  , teacher , a leader of men.
Both taught new truths from God , and both confirmed their teaching with miracles
1) both spent their early years in Egypt ,supernaturally protected from the evil kings who sought their lives.
2) Moses family initially did not accept his role  , but latter his brother Aaron and sister Miriam helped him.
Jesus brothers and sisters initially  failed to follow Jesus  , but latter James became the leader in the church in Jerusalem.
3) each of them was considered the wisest man of his day both confronted demonic powers and successfully subdued them .
4) Moses appointed 70 rulers to rule Israel , Jesus anointed 70 disciples to teach the nations.
5) Moses sent 12 spies to explore Canaan,
Jesus sent 12 Apostles to reach the world with the Gospel.
6) both fasted for 40 days and faced spiritual crises on mountain tops
7) just as Moses stretched his hand over the Red Sea to command it to part to save The Israelites , so Jesus rebuked the Sea of Galilee and quieted the waves to save His disciples.
8) both of their faces shone with the glory of heaven Moses on Mount Sinai and Jesus on the mount of Transfiguration.
9) while Moses rescued Israel from the dead religion of pagan Egypt, Jesus rescued Israel from the dead letter of tradition.
10) Moses and Jesus both cured lepers and proved their spiritual authority through miracles they performed before many witnesses.
11) Moses conquered Israel's great enemy the Amalekites with upraised arms
Jesus conquered our great enemies of sin and death by His upraised arms on the cross.
12) Moses lifted up the brazen serpent in the wilderness to heal his people , Jesus was lifted up on the Cross to heal all believers from their sin
13) Despite the spiritual leadership of Moses and Jesus the Jewish people were ungrateful to both me and rebelled against them.
14) both generations that rebelled against the two men sent from God died due to their lack of faith.
15) one generation died in the wilderness of Sinai and the other died in the siege of Jerusalem in A.D.70
16) Moses promised that God would send his people another Prophet , Jesus promised His church that His Father would send another Comforter  The Holy Spirit.
17) on the 14th day of Nisan which was the Feast of Passover  , both freed all who would trust them.
18) on  the 17th day , The Feasts of First fruits Moses brought about the resurrection of the children of Israel by taking them through the parted Red Sea , on the Feast of First fruits  Jesus resurrected the resurrection of all believers by becoming the symbolical  First Fruits of resurrection as He arose from the dead .
19) Fifty days after the Jews passed through the Red Sea on the Feast of Pentecost God gave Israel the gift of the Torah , the Law of God   50 days after Jesus resurrection  , on the Feast
Of Pentecost, God gave His Church the great gift of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
The evidence is compelling that Jesus truly was the prophesied Messiah , the" Prophet like unto Moses
