But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul. All those who hate me love death.” Psalm 84: 11 For Yahweh God is a sun and a shield. Yahweh will give grace and glory. John 13:3, and John 16:28 FALSE TRINITARIAN TRANSLATIONS.

John 13:3, and 16:28 FALSE TRINITARIAN TRANSLATIONS.

Part 1
Part 2

John 13:3, FALSE TRINITARIAN TRANSLATION.

And John 16:28 FALSE TRINITARIAN TRANSLATION.
John 16:28 FALSE TRINITARIAN TRANSLATION.

DID Jesus pre-exist His Flesh as MOST believe?

Most of the Christian population believe Jesus is the (word) in John 1:1.

There are also millions of Christians who correctly believe and understand that Jesus is NOT GOD, or THREE called the Trinity, but on their other hand believe Jesus is the (word) in John 1:1.

And If Jesus is the (word) in John 1:1 then this would prove Jesus was with GOD before all creation and therefore would prove Jesus existed with GOD before all creation, proving Jesus pre-existed His Flesh as MOST believe.

A Simple Fact:

If Jesus is the (word) in John 1:1, then we would have many teachings with Scriptures (confirming) with the (word) being Jesus in John 1:1 and saying Jesus pre-existed His Flesh.

Just like we read in the (Countless Translations) of John 13:3 that say Jesus (was returning) or Going (BACK) to God, as BELOW:

New International Version:
Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was (returning) to God;

New Living Translation:
Jesus knew that the Father had given him authority over everything and that he had come from God and would (return) to God.

English Standard Version:
Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he had come from God and was going (back) to God,

Berean Study Bible:
Jesus knew that the Father had delivered all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was (returning) to God.

New American Standard Bible:
Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come forth from God and was going (back) to God,

Christian Standard Bible:
Jesus knew that the Father had given everything into his hands, that he had come from God, and that he was going (back) to God.

Contemporary English Version:
Jesus knew he had come from God and would go (back) to God. He also knew that the Father had given him complete power.

Holman Christian Standard Bible:
Jesus knew that the Father had given everything into His hands, that He had come from God, and that He was going (back) to God.

International Standard Version:
Because Jesus knew that the Father had given everything into his control, that he had come from God, and that he was (returning) to God,

NET Bible:
Because Jesus knew that the Father had handed all things over to him, and that he had come from God and was going (back) to God,

GOD’S WORD® Translation
The Father had put everything in Jesus’ control. Jesus knew that. He also knew that he had come from God and was going (back) to God.

New American Standard 1977
Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come forth from God, and was going (back) to God,

As we have seen, we see and read what we would expect to see and read in Scriptures like John 13:3 that say Jesus (was returning) or Going (BACK) to God, if Jesus was in the beginning (alive, WITH and existing) with GOD.

And if Jesus is returning) or Going (BACK) to God, as we see and read, we then have a teaching in a Scripture (CONFIRMING) with Jesus being the (word) in John 1:1 and proving Jesus was at least with GOD before all creation and therefore would prove Jesus existed with GOD before all creation, proving Jesus pre-existed His Flesh as MOST believe.

However, as countless other false Trinitarian translations, again when we examine the Greek Text in John 13:3 and John 16:28 we see the words saying: (Returning) or Going (BACK) to God, do not exist within the Greek Text.

Lets see what we see in the Greek Text of John 13:3 by looking at one of the worlds oldest Bibles in the Codex Sinaiticus:

Codex Sinaiticus John 13:3.

As we see the words in the false translations saying (Returning) or Going (BACK) are not there, but instead simply say Jesus is (going) to God.

John 13:3 Greek text.
John 13:3 Greek text.

And we see this is the same case for John 16:28:

If Jesus did pre-exist His flesh then John would have simply said what the false translations are saying, that Jesus was (Returning) or Going (BACK) to GOD.

WARNING!
The belief that Jesus pre-existed His flesh is yet another terrible, GREAT enormous deception, so GREAT that I was also fooled into believing Jesus pre-existed His flesh.

The Trinitarians have no choice but say that Jesus pre-existed His flesh, simply because Jesus could NOT be GOD if He did not pre-exist His flesh.
This is why they are pulling the MAN Jesus as close as possible to John 1:1 as being the (word) who was GOD.

The true fact is that there is not a single word anywhere in the Bible saying Jesus would be (RETURNING) or going (BACK) to where He was before, and that alone is substantial proof Jesus did not pre-exist His flesh, and should convince us on its own, also that Jesus is not GOD.

In my next coming articles and videos I will demonstrate how the many verses used by most to prove Jesus pre-existed His flesh are again misunderstood by most.

I am Simon Brown.  SEEK and you will FIND said Jesus Mathew 7:7.

I will leave you with the correct translations:

Berean Literal Bible:
knowing that the Father has given Him all things into the hands, and that He came forth from God and He is going to God,

Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;

Good News Translation:
Jesus knew that the Father had given him complete power; he knew that he had come from God and was going to God.
New Heart English Bible:
Because he knew that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he came forth from God, and was going to God,

Aramaic Bible in Plain English:
And because Yeshua himself knew The Father had given everything into his hands and that he had gone out from God and he would go to God,

Jubilee Bible 2000:
Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands and that he had come from God and was going to God,

King James 2000 Bible:
Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he came from God, and went to God;

American King James Version:
Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;

American Standard Version

Douay-Rheims Bible
Knowing that the Father had given him all things into his hands, and that he came from God, and goeth to God;

Darby Bible Translation
[Jesus,] knowing that the Father had given him all things into his hands, and that he came out from God and was going to God,

English Revised Version:
Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he came forth from God, and goeth unto God,

Webster’s Bible Translation:
Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he had come from God, and was going to God;

Weymouth New Testament:
although He knew that the Father had put everything into His hands, and that He had come forth from God and was now going to God,

World English Bible:
Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he came forth from God, and was going to God,

Young’s Literal Translation:
Jesus knowing that all things the Father hath given to him -- into his hands, and that from God he came forth, and unto God he goeth,

When we believe GOD is the SON we simply DENY the Father and the SON, and Jesus as the SON of GOD.

John 8:24 When we believe GOD is the SON we simply DENY the Father and the SON, and Jesus as the SON of GOD.
John 8:24 When we believe GOD is the SON we simply DENY the Father and the SON, and Jesus as the SON of GOD.

IS THE WORD JESUS IN JOHN 1:1?

IS THE WORD JESUS IN JOHN 1:1?
John 1:1 The Correct Meaning.

Translations by English Standard Version, unless otherwise stated.

In the beginning was the (Word),
and the (Word) was with God,
 and the (Word) was God.
John 1:1.

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

Part 4

Part 5

Part 6

Part 7

Part 8

Quick Facts:

Yahweh the One True GOD is the (word).
As John 1:1c tells us: and the word was GOD.
The (word) in John 1:1 is not a second person, but is Yahweh the One True GOD's spoken command and (word), from GOD's mouth as we read in  Psalm 33:6

John 1:1-5 is referring to Genesis 1:
The Beginning

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep. God's Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters.

The First Day: Light

3 God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 4 God saw the light, and saw that it was good. God divided the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." There was evening and there was morning, one day.

In John 1:14, Jesus is born as the (word) OF GOD.
And the (word) of GOD became flesh.
Note, in John 1:1 GOD IS THE WORD, and Jesus is the (word) OF GOD.

If the (word) in John 1:1 is a second person called Jesus as MOST believe, and if Jesus is also GOD as most also believe, and as John tells us in John 1:1C that: the word (Jesus) was WITH God, we would now have TWO GODS side by side, contradicting the word of GOD who always declares He is ONE GOD alone and not TWO GODS.

If John was teaching Jesus is the (word) in John 1:1, surely He would have simply said in John 1:1: In the beginning was the (SON), and the (SON) was with God, and the (SON) was God.  Berean Literal Bible.

Also if Jesus is the (word) in John 1:1A, who is certainly a separate person as He only ever said He is the SON of His one true GOD John 10:36, John 17:3, and as John tells us in John 1:1B: and the (word) was WITH the GOD, then if the (word) is Jesus, who is WITH GOD, it is common sense in understanding the SON cannot possibly be the same ONE TRUE GOD, if the (word) is Jesus and a second person who is WITH GOD John 1:1B.

Also please read the full article below to see how John 1:2 and John 1:3, are yet again more false Trinitarian translations saying the word (HIM) for Jesus, but actually says (THIS) in the Greek text of John 1:1 and (IT) in the correct translations of John 1:3.

Also the (word) of GOD is never ever taught in the old testament as being a second person.

The (word) of GOD in the old testament is always GOD’s divine utterance, expressing His thoughts, plan, message, purpose and will, and is never another person.

The false translation of John 1:1.
Notice below how the same Greek word for (Logos Λόγος word), in countless verses like John 17:17 is never in CAPITALS, except in John 1:1, therefore deceiving people into believing the false CAPITAL translation of (Word) is a second person.

The false translations of JOHN 1:1.

Notice how the same Greek word for (Logos Λόγος word), is never in CAPITALS, except in John 1:1,

So what is the truth?

What did John say and mean in John 1:1, 2 and 3?

Is the word in John 1:1 Jesus?

The simple answer to John 1:1, 2 and 3, is in Psalm 33:6: World English Bible:

By Yahweh’s word, the heavens were made; all their army by the breath of his mouth.

Notice how Jesus tells us how the (word) comes from the mouth of GOD: But answering He said, "It has been written: 'The man shall live not by bread alone, but by every word coming out of the mouth of God.'" Matthew 4:4.

Notice in the William Tyndale, translation how Psalm 33:6 agrees with John 1:1, 2 and 3, saying: All things were made by GODS spoken (word) and that ALL things were made by (IT) meaning GOD’s command and not a second person.

“In the beginnynge was the worde, and the worde was with God, and the worde was god. The same was in the beginnynge with god. All thinges were made by it, and without it, was made nothinge that was made. In it was lyfe, and the lyfe was the lyght of men, and the lyght shyneth in the darcknes but the darcknes comprehended it not” (William Tyndale, The New Testament, 1534).

We clearly see in Psalm 33:6 that the word comes: By Yahweh’s word, by the breath of (Yahweh’s) mouth.

There is NO second PERSON here, but Yahweh GOD the FATHER alone.

Hence, this is why we read John saying:  and the (Word) was God. John 1:1c,
Yahweh’s word, and the breath of (Yahweh’s) mouth.

There is only ONE person who is called Yahweh, and He is GOD the FATHER.

John is telling us the (word) was GOD because the (word) is FROM GOD, so the words GOD speaks are GOD the Fathers.

However, when Jesus was born in John 1:14, Jesus was born as the living, walking, physical (word) of GOD, for-filling all Bible prophesis teaching GOD would send a saviour, and just as John tells us Jesus became the word of GOD in Revelation 19:13.

In John 1:1 the WORD is simply GOD’s divine utterance, expressing His thoughts, plan, message, purpose and will. Until Jesus is BORN as the word of GOD.

These simple facts on its own proves John was NOT teaching the (word) in John 1:1 was a second person which most wrongly believe is Jesus.

Full Article:

MOST of the Christian population believe the (Word) in John 1:1 is a person called Jesus the SON of GOD.

The Trinity:
The Trinity faith

The Trinity faith believe The Father and The Son and The Holy Spirit are THREE separate beings, yet the same ONE TRUE GOD.

Oneness Pentecostal:

Oneness Pentecostal:

While The Oneness Pentecostal faith do not believe in the Trinity, but believe there is one God, a singular divine Spirit, who manifests himself in many ways, including as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
In other words, GOD The Father is The Son, and also The Holy Ghost.

John 1:1c:

And because John 1:1c goes on to say: and the (Word) was God, this is why MOST therefore believe Jesus is the ONE TRUE GOD, because MOST believe the (word) is Jesus the Son.

Jehovah Witnesses:

The lovely and sincere people of The Jehovah Witnesses correctly believe Jesus is NOT GOD, but also wrongly believe the word is Jesus in John 1:1 and use their own translation saying John 1:1c should be (a God), and not THE ONE TRUE GOD, and also believe Jesus was Michael the Angel who pre-existed His flesh before He was BORN as the MAN Jesus.

So MOST therefore believe Jesus was with GOD the Father before all creation.

I was one who was deceived by believing this, until I was shown and proved to be wrong and again repented for being deceived.

I Simon Brown will now share what I know with you, in hope to also help you see, by demonstrating how MOST are all wrong by believing the word in John 1:1 is a person called Jesus.

I will prove how the enemy of our souls has caused enormous confusions and deceptions right at the very beginning of John 1:1 which is probably the No 1 most misunderstood verse in the whole Bible and within Christianity.

First notice how Jesus does not say I always was the (word),
but instead tells us the word is not His but GOD His fathers:
Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the (word logos λόγος)  that you hear is not mine but the Father’s who sent me.

Lets now examine the meanings of the (word).

As GOD and Jesus speak words, we also speak words.

We all know that the very words we speak from our very mouths are NOT a person, but come out from a person.

So as the words come OUT of a persons MOUTH, does that make the very spoken words a PERSON?

The simple answer is NO.

In fact the Trinitarians themselves describe the meaning of (word) spoken in the Strong’s Concordance: Usage: a thing spoken, (a) a word or saying of any kind, as command, report, promise, (b) a thing, matter, business.

For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment—what to say and what to speak. John 12:49.

I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. Deuteronomy 18:18.

Notice how GOD says: I will put my words in his mouth?
Notice what God tells us here in Deuteronomy 18:18 is identical to John 1:1:
In the beginning was the (Word),  and the (Word) was with God,  and the (Word) was God.  John 1:1.

So we read in Deuteronomy 18:18 and John 1:1 how GOD’s word was WITH GOD and from GOD from the beginning, and that His (word) goes forth.

Notice in John 17:14 how Jesus says the (word logon λόγον) is GODS word, and says nothing about Himself being the word:
Notice in John 17:14 how Jesus says the (word logon λόγον) is GODS word,

So Jesus said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own authority, but speak just as the Father taught me. John 8:28

Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works. John 14:10

For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me. John 17:8

Here are the Biblical facts:

If Jesus was the (Word) in John 1:1, then John would have simply said: In the beginning was the (SON), and the (SON) was with God, and the (SON) was God, or was a God.

However there is nothing by John saying the word is a person in John 1:1a and b, or that the word is Jesus or the SON anywhere in John 1:1.

So this proves the translation of John 1:1 saying: In the beginning was the (word), and the (word) was with God, and the (word) was God. John 1:1 is perfectly correct.

John 1;2?

WAS JESUS WITH GOD IN THE BEGINNING. JOHN 1:2.

John 1:2 The Correct Meaning.

(He) was in the beginning with God.

And in the very next verse of John 1;2 we read another false translation, by the fact the translators have added in the word saying (HE) was in the beginning with God.

The correct word (THIS) has been changed for the wrong word (HE).

John 1:2The correct word (THIS) has been changed for the wrong word (HE).

The word (HE) is to deceive people into believing John was teaching the false word (HE), is a person, who is (Jesus HE), who was in the beginning with God.

But as we see, on close examination, the correct word is (THIS) and NOT (HE).

We now move to John 1:3, where we read: All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

John 1:3 The Correct Meaning.

Again, because John 1:3 goes on to say: All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made, MOST therefore believe GOD created: All things through (him), Jesus.

DID GOD CREATE All things through (him), Jesus John 1:3?

However, again on close examination, we find there are many other translations of John 1:3, that do not have the word (HIM) but instead say (IT).

Example: Mr Anthony Buzzard has made me aware of many other translations of John 1: like:
"In the beginning was the word, and the worde was with God, and that worde was God. The same was in the begynnyng with God. Althinges were made by it, and without it was made nothing that was made. In it was lyfe, and the lyfe was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkeness, and the darknes comprehended it not” (William Whittingham, The Newe Testament of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Conferred Diligently with the Greke, and Best Approved Translation, Geneva: Conrad Badius, 1557).

“In the beginning was the Worde, and the Worde was with God and that Worde was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by it, and without it was made nothing that was made. In it was lif, and the lif was the light of men. And the light shineth in the darkenes, and the darkenes comprehended it not” (Geneva Bible, The Bible and Holy Scriptures conteyned in the Olde and Newe Testament, Geneva: Rouland Hall, 1560).

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and God was that Word. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by it, and without it, was made nothing that was made. In it was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in the darknesse, and the darknesse comprehendeth it not” (Bishops’ Bible, The Holie Bible, London: Richard Jugge, 1568).

“In the beginning was that Word, and that Word was with God, and that Word was God. This same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by it, and without it was made nothing that was made. In it was life, and that life was the light of men. And that light shineth in the darknes, and the darknesse comprehended it not” (Lawrence Tomson, The New Testament of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Translated out of Greeke by Theod. Beza, London: Robert Barker, 1607).

In the beginning there was God’s Grand Design, the declaration of His Intention and Purpose, and that declaration was with God as His project, and it was fully expressive of God Himself. This was with God in the beginning. Everything came into being through it, and without it nothing of what came into being existed. In it there was life and that life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness and the darkness does not overwhelm it. A Translation of John’s Gospel from the Greek by Anthony Buzzard

Please go to the link: John 1 in 50+ English Translations. Sir Anthony Buzzard, and there you will see there are many Translations that have the word (IT) and not (HIM) used in John 1:3.

John 1-4 The Correct Meaning.

So what is the truth?

What did John say and mean in John 1:1, 2 and 3?

Is the word in John 1:1 Jesus?

The simple answer to John 1:1, 2 and 3, is in Psalm 33:6:
World English Bible:
By Yahweh’s word, the heavens were made; all their army by the breath of his mouth.

We clearly see in Psalm 33:6 that the word comes: By Yahweh’s word, by the breath of (Yahweh’s) mouth.

There is NO second PERSON here, but ‘ Yahweh'' GOD the FATHER alone.

Hence, this is why we read John saying:  and the (Word) was God. John 1:1c, Yahweh’s word, and the breath of (Yahweh’s) mouth.

There is only ONE person who is called Yahweh, and He is GOD the FATHER.

John is telling us the (word) was GOD because the (word) is FROM GOD, so the words GOD speaks are GOD the Fathers.

The WORD is GOD’s divine utterance, expressing His thoughts, plan, message, purpose and will.

Notice in the Strong’s Concordance: logos: a word (as embodying an idea), a statement, a speech.

Logos
And there is nothing by John saying the word is a SEPARATE SECOND PERSON.

Also notice in just some scriptures coming shortly how GOD said He ALONE is the creator, and says there is NO ONE WITH HIM, or that He worked THROUGH Jesus before His Son Jesus was BORN.

This is so simple.
IF GOD created the world THROUGH Jesus, then the Hebrews writer would have simply said: Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by (HIS SON) and would NOT say by the prophets.

In fact there is not a single word by GOD the Father saying he created all things by and through his son, which is odd if Jesus was with GOD at creation.

All we read and see in many verses is GOD saying countless times He created all things on his own with NO ONE next to Him or with Him.

So my question is to the Trinity faith and the Oneness Pentecostal faith, and to MOST of the Christian population, WHERE IS JESUS WHEN GOD SAID: Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: “I am the LORD, who made all things, who alone, stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth, by myself. ISAIAH  44:24.?

John 1:10 The Correct Meaning.

John 1:14 The Correct Meaning.

Now here is a question I will ask myself.
Why did John tell us in John 1:14: And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

The problem here is that IF GOD the Father was the (word) in John 1:1, then surely that would mean GOD The Father has become flesh in John 1:14, because John told us that the (Word) was God, John 1:1c.

And this is WHY MOST believe Jesus is GOD and have therefore become so confused and deceived.

And this was a problem for me, stopping me from believing the Unitarians were correct, simply because GOD is the word, John 1:1 and then the word becomes FLESH, John 1:14.

So it sounds like GOD has become flesh.

However being a human, who is capable of errors, I have since put my hands up and confessed I was wrong and repented.

And I now believe the answer has now become very SIMPLE.

WHY and how did GOD the word in John 1:1 become FLESH in John 1:14?

The answer is because: NOT GOD The Father, but The (WORD) of GOD became a Living Person, and The Only Begotten SON of GOD and The SON of MAN, and became The VISIBLE, and PHYSICAL, LIVING and WALKING, (word of GOD) and The LIGHT of GOD and of The world. John 1:14: And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

And this therefore explains WHY John said in Revelation 19:13: He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God.

GODS (word), His speech, His Authority, His command, His power, By Yahweh’s word, and the breath of (Yahweh’s) mouth, became embodied, and expressed in the MAN Jesus Christ, who was BORN as the VISIBLE, and PHYSICAL, LIVING and WALKING, (word of GOD).

For he spoke, and it was done. He commanded, and it stood firm. Psalm 33:9 World English Bible

For I am Yahweh; I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall be performed; it shall be no more deferred: for in your days, rebellious house, will I speak the word, and will perform it, says the Lord Yahweh. Ezekiel 12:25. World English Bible

so shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing I sent it to do. Isaiah 55:11

GOD sent His only begotten SON, to speak His word, and to be His word, and then GOD sacrificed His only Begotten SON, to be the Lamb of GOD: 16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. 19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. 20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. 21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”

Join me Simon Brown again in my NEW REVISED Video: Trinitarian Confusion and Deception: John 8:58 (I am).

Please click here:  JOHN 8:58 THE QUICK FACTS!

SEEK AND YOU WILL FIND SAID JESUS, Mathew 7:7.

Until next time, I will leave you with 2 emails I received from Mr Dudley, and Mr Buzzard.

Simon my friend, what you have to remember is that the word “word” is not a person in anyone’s language, it is a THING.     It is the chararistic of the language which confuses people.    The word “word” is similar to words like wine and bread which are in the Greek language referred to as a “he or him” (αὐτοῦ) but the Greek know they are not persons.  And therefore because the word “word” IS NOT a person but “a thing” in anyone’s language, it should be referred to as an IT in English, just as you would with bread and wine in English. In Greek bread and wine would be referred to as a he or a him (αὐτοῦ) but NO ONE would think they are real persons.   Most nouns in the Greek have a male or female gender assigned to them even though they are not persons. Like the word “beginning”, it has a female gender assigned to it, but you know “beginning” is NOT a female person.   Now, the sense of the word in John 1 encompasses a great variety of things that have to do with God’s plan of salvation which you seem to understand.    The power and authority of God’s word is embodied into Jesus flesh giving him the power and authority of God to fulfil God’s divine will and purpose. Col 2:9,   By the power and authority of God’s word the heavens were made (Ps33:6) ( Ps 33:9), (Acts 10:38) LOOK IT UP.   May you have peace my friend. Dudley.

Simon, The very top scholarly sources Theologicla Dictionary of the NT is very insistent on IT not Him. “It was with God”  It was God or divine. All things were made through IT. In IT was life. It was the light of Men. Alll these sayings of John are sayings about the Torah., (Vol 4, p. 135). Anthony  Buzzard.

Most translations get this wrong since they want you to believe “in the beginning was the SON” A false Jesus, not really human  Yes, Isa is absolutely clear. God was totally alone at creation The word “word” is hundreds of times not another person! It is only because of the false creeds of Christendom that people imagine a second God.

The text says the word was GOD Himself, ie not another person. Error has driven people insane and our task is to try to help them as we have been helped. Jews and  Moslems, millions of them, are right offended at a Triple God, in hope, Anthony  www.restorationfellowship.org
