Proverbs 8:34-36 Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my door posts. For whoever finds me finds life, and will obtain favor from Yahweh. But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul. All those who hate me love death.” Psalm 84: 11 For Yahweh God is a sun and a shield. Yahweh will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly. 12 Yahweh of Armies, blessed is the man who trusts in you. 1 John 5:5 Now who is the one overcoming the world, except the one believing that Jesus is the Son of God?

What is the odds of these 17 Prophecies in the Old Testament about the coming Messiah? The Great Debate by Grant R. Jeffrey.

What's the odds of these 17 prophecies in the old testament about the coming Messiah? The great debate by Grant R.Jeffrey.

Dear friend's last week we looked at some encouraging fragments discovered with the Dead sea scrolls from the book: The great debate by Grant R.Jeffrey, which are virtually identical to Christian teachings, and are 'outside the Bible' about Jesus Christ as detailed in the Four Gospels. If you missed this article, you are welcome to read it here.

I since did some more research, as we always should, to see if these fragments at 4Q521 were real, and have since discovered they are called:  The "Messianic Apocalypse".
And there are many more good articles confirming this to be true, at the links below. Amen.

Here is a small part from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

4Q521 or the 4QMessianic Apocalypse is one of the Dead Sea Scrolls.

4Q521 comprises two larger fragments.[1] The original editor was Jean Starcky,[2] though translation revisions have been proposed by Émile Puech.[3]

The text begins:

(1) [for the heav]ens and the earth will listen to his Messiah, (2) [and all] that is in them will not turn away from the holy precepts. Be encouraged, you who are seeking the Lord in his service! (4) Will you not, perhaps, encounter the Lord in it, all those who hope in their heart? (5) For the Lord will observe the devout, and call the just by name, .[4]

The subject of the text is eschatological[5] and makes connection the healing ministry of the Messiah.[6] 4Q521 may be related to other apocalyptic end-time texts, 4Q Second Ezekiel[7] 4Q Apocryphon of Daniel,[8] and has been studied in relation to Gospel of Luke's Messianic Magnificat and Benedictus and especially striking is the comparison with Luke 7:22 about raising the dead.[9]

For further study and reference, see links below.

I would like to continue with another wonderful part written in Grant R. Jeffrey book: The great debate.

Please read on, as I leave you with these Great Fulfilled Prophecies, and please do join me again next week and be encouraged as we look at more REAL proof ‘outside the Bible’ confirming the Bible.
I am Simon Brown. May God bless you.

What's the odds of these 17 prophecies in the old testament about the coming Messiah.
1) He would be born in Bethlehem and be descended from the tribe of Judah probability 1 chance in 2,400 Micah 5:2 fulfillment Matthew 2:1

2)A messenger would precede the Messiah 1 chance 20. Isaiah 40:3 fulfillment Matthew 3:1-2

3) He would enter Jerusalem on a colt 1 in 50 Zechariah 9:9 fulfillment  Luke 19:35-37

4) He would be betrayed by a friend  1in 10 Psalm 41:9  fulfillment Matthew 26:47-48

5)) His hands and feet would be pierced  1 in 100 Psalm 22:16 fulfillment Luke 23:33

The combined probability of these Five prediction's ( 10 x 24 million ) is now 1 chance in 2.4 billion

6) His enemies would wound the Messiah 1 chance in 10 Isaiah 54:5 fulfillment Matthew 27:26

7) He would be betrayed for 30 pieces of silver 1 in 50 Zechariah 11:12 fulfillment Matthew 26:15

8 ) He will be spit upon and beaten 1 in 10 Isaiah 50:6 fulfillment Matthew 26:27

9) His betrayal money would be thrown in the Temple and then be given to buy a potter's field 1 in 200 Zechariah 11:13 fulfillment Matthew 27:5-7
10) He would be silent before His accuses 1 in 100 Isaiah 53:7 fulfillment Matthew 27:12-14

11) He would be crucified with thieves 1 chance 100  Isaiah 53:12 fulfillment Matthew 27:38

12) People would gamble for His garments  1 chance in 100 Psalm 22:18 fulfillment John 19:23-24

13) His side would be pierced 1 in 100 Zechariah 12:10 Zechariah 12:10 fulfillment John 19:34

14) None of His bones broken 1 chance 20 Psalm 34:20 fulfillment John 19:34

15) His body would not decay 1 chance in 10,000  Psalm 16:10 fulfillment Acts 2:31

16) He would be buried in a rich man's tomb. 1 chance in 100 Isaiah 53:9

17) Darkness would cover the earth 1 chance 1,000.  Amos 8:9

What are the chances that all 17 of these predictions occurred in the life of a single man rather by the divine plan of God.

The combined probability against these 17 predictions occurring is equal to
1 chance in 480 billion  x 1 billion x 1 trillion or
1 chance in 480,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
In other words there is only 1 chance in 480 billion x 1 billion x 1 trillion that the Old Testament Prophets could have accurately predicted these 17 specific prophecies.

GREAT NEWS FOR BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS. Historical Text Outside The Bible Confirming Jesus Return With Power and glory.

GREAT NEWS FOR BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS. Historical Text Outside The Bible Confirming Jesus Return With Power and glory. Dead Sea Scrolls

It is truly sad to see so much bad and sad news in our world, just as the many Bible Prophecies have predicted. The good news is, as born again believers, we have great hope ahead, we already know who will win, by remembering what Jesus has already told us, that the enemy will be totally defeated and Jesus will return with power and glory as King of Kings, to take all the true followers and eventually rule on planet earth, where there will be peace and righteousness for 1000 years.

We know this by what Jesus told us in Matthew 24.

27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

But is there any evidence outside the Bible predicting this next great Bible Prophecy of Jesus retuning? Yes it is certainly most encouraging to know there is. I am about to share a discovery found in the dead sea scrolls. Fragment 4Q521 in cave 4. From the book of Grant R. Jeffrey. Page 64 to 65. The great debate. Here again we have historical text, confirming with the Holy Bible.

Please read on and keep loving and forgiving, looking up and praying, and be encouraged with Jesus returning.
Amen. Simon Brown.

Dead sea scrolls Fragment 4Q521.
This was found in cave 4.
The great debate by Grant R.Jeffrey. Page 64 to 65.

This scroll declares that the Messiah will display supernatural powers identical to those described in the Gospels
The heavens and the earth will obey his Messiah the sea and All that is in them.
He will not turn aside from the commandments of the Holy ones.
Take strength in His mighty work all yea who seek the Lord.
Will ye not find Him with hope in your hearts.
Surely the Lord will seek out the pious and will call the righteous by name.
His Spirit will hover over the poor by his might will He restore the faithful
He will glorify the pious on the throne of the eternal kingdom.
He will release the captives , make the blind see , raise up the down trodden.
Forever I will cleave to Him against the most powerful and I will trust and trust in His loving kindness and in His goodness forever.
His Holy Messiah will not be slow in coming . And as for the wonders that are not the work of the lord.
When He , that is the Messiah , comes then He will heal the sick , resurrect the dead , and to the poor announce glad tidings
He will the Holy ones , He will do all of it.

The Messianic parallels between this scroll and the teachings of the New Testament are astonishing.
This 2,000 years old Jewish Essene document from Qumran reveals a number of prophecies about the coming Messiah that are virtually identical to Christian teachings about Jesus Christ as detailed in the four Gospels.

1) The Messiah is divinely supernatural , not just a man like Moses -----The heavens and the earth will obey his Messiah ( Psalm 110:1-7. Ephesians 1:20-22 )
2) He is righteous -------- He will not turn aside from the commandment of the Holy Ones ( Isaiah 53:9 )
3) He will rule forever ---- the throne of the eternal Kingdom ( Isaiah 9:6-7 , Revelation 21:3-5 )
4) He will act as the High Priest in the year of jubilee ----- He will release the captives ( Isaiah 61:1 ; Luke 4:18 )
5) He will miraculous heal the blind --make the blind see ( Isaiah 42:7 ; John 9:25-33 )
6) The Messiah will supernaturally heal the sick and resurrect the dead ( Isaiah 35:5-6 ; Matthew 11:4-6 )
7) He will come down from Heaven with a heavenly army--------He will lead the holy ones ( Deuteronomy 33:2; Revelation 19:14-15 )
So the text that is the subject of this article (4Q521 is speaking of a single Messiah.
The Messiah of our text is thus much closer to the Christian Messiah.
This outside of the Bible is so clear as to The Lord Jesus being The Messiah.

Parallels Between A New Dead Sea Scroll Fragment (4Q521)
and the Early New Testament Gospel Tradition.

A Personal Report on the 2015 Jalsa Salana Convention By Barrie Schwortz

Dear friend’s I would like to share this article by Barrie Schwortz.
I was blessed by God who made it possible for me to meet Barrie Schwortz for the first time ever and Arif Khan, who gave me the permission to film most of Barrie’s techings on the Shroud of Turin, at the Jalsa Salana Convention.

It was also a delightful pleasure to also meet: Pam Moon, David Rolfe, Hugh Farey, and many Muslims, Amer Safir, where I was able to talk and share my faith in Jesus death and most important, His ultimate triumph, His miracle resurrection.

I have to admit that I knew very little (if anything) about Islam when I first received the invitation from my friend Arif Khan to attend and speak at the Jalsa Salana Convention. That, in part, was what caused me to have some reservations about attending. I discussed this with Pam Moon via Skype and we both agreed that we needed more information about the Ahmadiyya Muslim community. I mentioned this to Arif, a staff writer for The Review of Religions magazine, who I had worked with since 2002, and he quickly sent me a series of links to provide us with some important background information about their community, which we published online in our August 16, 2015 update. These were essential for Pam and me to gain a better understanding of who the Ahmadiyya community was and what we were going to participate in and are definitely worth repeating, so I am including them again. PLEASE READ THE FULL ARTICLE ON BARRIES SITE HERE.
