Was Jesus CRUCIFIED, RAISED from the DEAD, and WHY?

Was Jesus CRUCIFIED, RAISED from the DEAD, and WHY

Watch video here:
WHY IS THE TOMB OF JESUS EMPTY?

The History, The Evidence, And The Scientific Facts, of JESUS Life, DEATH, and RESURRECTION.

IS THERE ANY EVIDENCE OF JESUS?

Seek and you will find said Jesus.

There are numerous testimonies we can turn to, so that we can scrutinise and test if what is written about Jesus in the Bible is genuine, including examining if the CRUCIFIXION, DEATH and RESURRECTION of Jesus is authentic.

What will we study?

We will examine my own research and other articles:

1. A short report about Jesus.

2.  If Jesus existed are there any Historians who wrote about Him, as we would expect?

3. If Jesus existed, are there any testimonies of His Physical Description, as we would expect?

4. Real Faces of The Bible.
If Jesus existed, were there famous people who lived at the same time as Jesus who would have met Jesus face to face, as we would expect?

5. Are there any Clay Tablets recording the same people or events in the Bible, as we would expect?

6.  Were there any Prophecies of Jesus in the Bible, as we would expect for someone who was so important?

7. If Jesus existed, were there any other ancient writings about Jesus as we would expect?

8. What do The Parables of Jesus prove?

9. What did the history's greatest scientists believe?

10. Was there any Evidence of crucifixions in the same time frame that Jesus of Nazareth was crucified?

11. If Jesus was crucified, and laid in a tomb, as told in all four Gospels, then is there a popular place that was preserved, recognized and venerated by the first Christians, as we would expect?

12. Is there any evidence of the RESURRECTION of Jesus?

13. As Jesus was wrapped in a Shroud, as told in the Gospels, does this Shroud still exist today, as one would expect? Which would be preserved as a testimony, about someone like Jesus who was so well known and important.

14. If the Shroud of Turin is the true burial cloth of Jesus, then where is the second cloth used on Jesus as told in the Gospels.

15. Is there any more proof that Jesus was raised from the dead?

16. What do scientist say about the Shroud of Turin?

17. What does the Daily Mail reveal about the Turin Shroud?

18. Are there any Scientific Facts proving the CRUCIFIXION, DEATH and RESURRECTION of Jesus?

19. Why was Jesus crucified?

20. Why do most refuse to believe?

What does the evidence prove?

Conclusion. End.
 -----------------------------------------------

1. A short report about Jesus.

2000 years ago, GOD Almighty, sent His Only Begotten Son (YESHUA),
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. Colossians 1:15.
Who would reveal hidden secrets that were never known before.
This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet: “I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.”  Matthew 13:35.

YESHUA/Jesus would fulfill countless old Testament prophecies, by doing His Fathers will, and bear witness to the truth, John 18:37.

He would make known and teach us about His ONE TRUE Father GOD, the creator of the world. Mark 12:29.

He would reverse the curse of Adam.

He would be our great High Priest and mediator.

He would become the ultimate perfect sacrifice, and be the Lamb for His GOD, replacing all animal sacrifices for good.

The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! This is he of whom I said, ‘After me comes a man who ranks before me, because he was before me.’ I myself did not know him, but for this purpose I came baptizing with water, that he might be revealed to Israel.” John 1:29,30,31.

But what evidence is there that everything written in the Gospels, were Jesus own teachings, and are not just a clever invention?

Well, firstly we must read the oldest manuscripts and Bibles, which will eliminate many false, twisted, and biased translations, and will bring us much closer to the originals, by doing so, we straight away discover there are no teachings by Jesus that teach He is the ONE TRUE GOD, or a TRINITY, which proves the oldest manuscripts are far more reliable, bringing us much closer to the actual writings.

This leaves us with the most important books in the Bible, where Jesus teachings are recorded in the four Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. Hebrews 1:2.

The Old Testament.
And what we find is that Jesus and the disciples often referred to PROPHECIES, that are recorded in the Old Testament, therefore proving the Old Testament.

But how do we know the Old Testament, and the four Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, followed by all the books in the new testament are genuine writings and teachings?

2.  If Jesus existed are there any Historians who wrote about Him, as we would expect?

Answer?
Well, firstly we have countless independent non biblical writings by Historians, who have left us with writings that record the same identical people or events and descriptions about Jesus and His teachings.

Who was Josephus?
Who was Josephus?

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
The works of Josephus provide crucial information about the First Jewish-Roman War and also represent important literary source material for understanding the context of the Dead Sea Scrollsand late Temple Judaism.

For some one who was so well known as Josephus, did He mention or refer to Jesus?

Answer?
Josephus scholar Louis H. Feldman has stated that "few have doubted the genuineness" of Josephus' reference to Jesus in Antiquities 20, 9, 1,"the brother of Jesus, who was called Christ, whose name was James" and only a small number of scholars dispute it.[40][41][42][43].

I have added below a short article by my good friend Dr Richard Kent, who has done some good research and has a page on His blog as below.

The Crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth was noted by Cornelius Tacitus who was a Roman historian, born in 52-54 A.D. Tacitus stated that Jesus had been crucified by Pontius Pilate.
Flavius Josephus
Josephus was born in 37A.D. and was a Jewish Pharisee. He wrote: "Now there was about this time Jesus, a wise man, if it be lawful to call him a man, for he was a doer of wonderful works ..... Pilate ... condemned him to the Cross ... he appeared to them alive again on the third day."

The Crucifixion of Jesus Christ was widely accepted and discussed by a great many ancient writers

The fact is that the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ was accepted as fact by a great number of ancient writers. The Crucifixion was widely discussed as a fact by both Christian and secular writers, many of whom wanted to discuss the three hour period of darkness during the Crucifixion, which obviously greatly alarmed the ancient world.

Amongst such writers are:
- Tertullian who lived at the beginning of the 3rd century.
- Lucian, who died in A.D. 312.
- Thallus, a historian writing in AD. 52,
- Julius Africanus writing about A.D. 221
- Origen.
- Phlegon of Tralles was a first century Greek historian born not long after the Crucifixion.
- Philipon.
- Joannes Philoponus.
- Malelas.
- Eusebius.
- Maximus.
This large number of historians makes the Crucifixion among the best-attested events in ancient writing.
---------------------------------
Thallus the (historian)

Is this the earliest validation confirming the gospels outside the Bible, By Thallus the (historian)

I have done my own research on one of the earliest validations confirming the gospels outside the Bible, By Thallus the (historian)

Did you know there are ancient writings believed to be traced back before any of the gospels were written and dated, 50 - 52 AD, and later told by Thallus, an early historian which some Christians believe to be non-Christian validation confirming what happened at the crucifixion of Jesus, and the darkness over the whole land and an earthquake, the rending of rocks, just as we are told happen in the gospels.

And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. Mark 15:34
Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.
Matthew 27:45
And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent. Matthew 27:51
Early Christian use of Thallus
The 9th-century Christian chronologer George Syncellus cites Sextus Julius Africanus as writing in reference to the darkness mentioned in the synoptic gospels as occurring at the death of Jesus: Ref: From Wikipedia,
"Julius Africanus - Extant Writings, Fragment XVIII".

"On the whole world there pressed a most fearful darkness; and the rocks were rent by an earthquake, and many places in Judea and other districts were thrown down. This darkness Thallus, in the third book of his 'History', calls, as appears to me without reason, an eclipse of the sun."

Africanus then goes on to point out that an eclipse cannot occur at Passover when the moon is full and therefore diametrically opposite the Sun.
Ref: From Wikipedia,
Voorst, Robert E. Van (2000). Jesus Outside the New Testament : An Introduction to the Ancient Evidence. Eerdmans. pp. 20-23. ISBN 0802843689.

Eusebius (fourth century) mentions a history of Thallus in three books that according to an Armenian translation of Eusebius ranged from the sack of Troy to the 167th Olympiad. Some have argued that the reason Africanus doubted the eclipse is because Easter happens near the full moon and a solar eclipse would have been impossible at that time, as was well-known. Compounding the matter is the Armenian translation of Eusebius has many corrupt numerals and so many apologists claim that 167th Olympiad (or 109 BCE) should really be 217th Olympiad.

Roman historian Tacitus.

It is also well documented in history how followers of Jesus were persecuted for their faith in Jesus, proving Jesus existed.

I have an article on my blog about Tacitus, who also provides a non-Christian confirmation of the crucifixion of Jesus.

The Roman historian and senator Tacitus referred to Christ, his execution by Pontius Pilate and the existence of early Christians in Rome in his final work, Annals (written ca. AD 116), book 15, chapter 44.
[1] Cambridge History of Latin Literature.

The context of the passage is the six-day Great Fire of Rome that burned much of the city in AD 64 during the reign of Roman Emperor Nero.[2] The passage is one of the earliest non-Christian references to the origins of Christianity, the execution of Christ described in the Canonical gospels, and the presence and persecution of Christians in 1st-centuryRome.[3][4]

Scholars generally consider Tacitus's reference to the execution of Jesus by Pontius Pilate to be both authentic, and of historical value as an independent Roman source.[5][6][7] Eddy and Boyd state that it is now "firmly established" that Tacitus provides a non-Christian confirmation of the crucifixion of Jesus.[8] However, there have been suggestions that the 'Christ, the author of this name, was executed by the procurator Pontius Pilate in the reign of Tiberius' line is a Christian interpolation.[9][10]

 Lucian of Samosata.
Non-canonical, non biblical Greek writer: Lucian of Samosata, testifies Christians worship this man who was crucified.

Non-canonical, non biblical Greek writer: Lucian of Samosata, testifies Christians worship this man who was crucified.

We continue with non biblical writers outside the Bible who confirm the Bible.
Here we have another second century Greek writer: Lucian of Samosata, born 125 - 180 AD.
Who makes some amazing statements regarding who Christians worship.

Lucian of Samosata is well documented in history and is believed to be the author of 70 ancient writings.

Lucian of Samosata confirms and states in his writings:
The Passing of Peregrinus or The Death of Peregrinus.

1. There are Christians.

2. The Christians worship a man in his day.

3.  The Christians believe a man who they worship started  Christianity.

4 The Christians believed and followed His teachings.

5. The person the Christians followed 'was' crucified.

6.  The Christians believe they will live forever because of their faith in this crucified man.

7. The Christians do not worship any other God except this crucified man.

8. The Christians have no care for material things because of their strong faith.

9. The Christians become brothers when they are converted.

10. He preached to the priests and scribes at Palestine which comprised the kingdoms of Israel and Judah.

11. Jesus performed miracles or sorcery.

The Babylonian Talmud.

Evidence confirms Jesus crucifixion outside the Bible  by: The Babylonian Talmud.
Here is the Babylonian Talmud with the Jewish laws and traditions, they write confirmation of Jesus Christ, as was written in the Gospels.

Let's look at the Wikipedia site.

Execution .
Scholars have identified passages that mention Jesus in the context of his execution:
Babylonian  Sanhedrin 43a-b -"on the eve of Passover they hanged Jesus the Nazarene" (Editions or MSs: Herzog 1, Karlsruhe 2)

Babylonian Sanhedrin 43a-b - "Jesus the Nazarene is going forth to be stoned" (Editions or MSs: Herzog 1, Firenze II.1.8-9, Karlsruhe 2)

Babylonian Sanhedrin 43a-b - "Do you suppose Jesus the Nazarene was one for whom a defense could be made?" (Editions or MSs: Herzog 1, Firenze II.1.8-9, Karlsruhe 2 )
Babylonian Sanhedrin 43a-b - "With Jesus the Nazarene it was different" (Editions or MSs: Herzog 1, Firenze II.1.8-9, Karlsruhe 2)

The complete passage is: "On (Sabbath eve and) the eve of Passover Jesus the Nazarene was hanged and a herald went forth before him forty days heralding, 'Jesus the Nazarene is going forth to be stoned because he practiced sorcery and instigated and seduced Israel to idolatry.

Whoever knows anything in defense may come and state it.' But since they did not find anything in his defense they hanged him on (Sabbath eve and) the eve of Passover. Ulla said: Do you suppose that Jesus the Nazarene was one for whom a defense could be made? He was a mesit (someone who instigated Israel to idolatry), concerning whom the Merciful [God]says: Show him no compassion and do not shield him (Deut. 13:9). With Jesus the Nazarene it was different. For he was close to the government."[66] [91]
In the Florence manuscript of the Talmud (1177 CE) an addition is made to Sanhedrin 43a saying that Yeshu was hanged on the eve of the Sabbath.[92]

We also have Real Faces of The Bible like Caesar Augustus, where we can see the actual faces of people who met Jesus face to face, as told in the Bible.
Here are just 2 of many.

We find Caesar Augustus in the Bible.
 Luke 2:1
In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world.

PONTIUS PILATE INSCRIPTION AND COINS.
PONTIUS PILATE INSCRIPTION

Supporting Jesus is the famous PONTIUS PILATE INSCRIPTION.
Pontius Pilate was the fifth governor of Roman Judea, under whose governance Jesus of Nazareth was crucified (Matt 27:2, plus 60 additional occurrences in the gospels, Acts, and 1 Timothy).
The Pilate stone inscription was found in 1961 in the ruins of an amphitheatre at Caesarea Maritima. The inscription is on a limestone block which was a dedication to Tiberius Caesar Augustus.
This stone inscription is absolute proof that a man called Pontius Pilatus (Greek: Πόντιος Πιλᾶτος, Pontios Pīlātos), known in the English-speaking world as Pontius Pilate LIVED and was the fifth Prefect of the Roman province of Judaea, from AD 26–36. The Bible states he was the governor.
The existence of Pontius Pilate is also confirmed by canonical gospels, the works of Philo and Josephus, a brief mention by Tacitus, and THE GOSPEL OF NICODEMUS OR ACTS OF PILATE. FULL ARTICLE HERE: https://wwwrealdiscoveriesorg-simon.blogspot.co.uk/2015/01/famous-pontius-pilate-inscription.html

NEW DISCOVERY - BONES FOUND COULD BE THOSE OF JOHN THE BAPTIST

We also have The BONES discovered of john the Baptist.
John the Baptist was a cousin of Jesus Christ as well as being known as being one who preached a message of repentance in readiness for the coming of Jesus Christ.

He died famously after having his head decapitated from his body and served up on a plate before the King.

QUICK FACTS

The bones were discovered by official Bulgarian archaeologists Kazimir Popkonstantinov and Rossina Kostova in the ruins of a Bulgarian Church on the island of Sveti Ivan which translates as St John in Bulgarian.

NEW DISCOVERY - BONES FOUND COULD BE THOSE OF JOHN THE BAPTIST

The bones are clearly consistent with someone who lived in the early first century AD.
Scientists believed by the mitochondrial DNA genome sequence that ALL the 8 human bones found were all from the same individual.

a smaller box only inches away from the marble box which had a personal message engraved on it reading, Lord help thy servant Thomas, followed by the words of St John.

Scientists identified a family group of genes, the DNA haplotype, most commonly found in today's Middle East which was where John the Baptist's was born.
The bones were buried only a few hundred years after the death of John the Baptist which means they are less likely to be forgeries,

NEW DISCOVERY - BONES FOUND COULD BE THOSE OF JOHN THE BAPTIST

Scientist Thomas Higham confirms the date of Radiocarbon dating prove the bones to be 30 ad which is when John the Baptist is supposed to have died by decapitation as recorded in the scriptures.

NEW DISCOVERY - BONES FOUND COULD BE THOSE OF JOHN THE BAPTIST

NEW DISCOVERY - BONES FOUND COULD BE THOSE OF JOHN THE BAPTIST

Scientists confirm that the bones could quite possibly be the bones of John the Baptist as it has been recorded in historical documents that the monastery in which they were found had received a portion of St John the Baptists relics in the fifth or early sixth centuries.

6. Were there any Prophecies of Jesus in the Bible, as we would expect for someone who was so important?

Prophecies of Jesus in the Bible,

We also have at least 2500 prophecies of which 2000 have already been fulfilled with not one single mistake. This leaves 500 prophecies which we are now seeing happen and come true as we talk. It is also said the chances of all these prophecies developing independent of one another, is 1 in millions. If we seek we also find that not one single Archaeological discovery has truly contradicted a Biblical reference in the Bible. So we have bible prophecies accurately fulfilled which is confirmed and proved by bible discoveries and Archaeology. Proving over and over again that THE ORIGINAL MANUSCRIPTS WERE INSPIRED BY GOD'S chosen.
Please also read my own research: Prophecies In The Bible.

I have also added in a small part below by Grant R.Jeffrey.

What's the odds of these 17 prophecies in the old testament about the coming Messiah.
1) He would be born in Bethlehem and be descended from the tribe of Judah probability 1 chance in 2,400 Micah 5:2 fulfillment Matthew 2:1

2)A messenger would precede the Messiah 1 chance 20. Isaiah 40:3 fulfillment Matthew 3:1-2

3) He would enter Jerusalem on a colt 1 in 50 Zechariah 9:9 fulfillment  Luke 19:35-37

4) He would be betrayed by a friend  1in 10 Psalm 41:9  fulfillment Matthew 26:47-48

5)) His hands and feet would be pierced  1 in 100 Psalm 22:16 fulfillment Luke 23:33

The combined probability of these Five prediction's ( 10 x 24 million ) is now 1 chance in 2.4 billion

6) His enemies would wound the Messiah 1 chance in 10 Isaiah 54:5 fulfillment Matthew 27:26

7) He would be betrayed for 30 pieces of silver 1 in 50 Zechariah 11:12 fulfillment Matthew 26:15

8 ) He will be spit upon and beaten 1 in 10 Isaiah 50:6 fulfillment Matthew 26:27

9) His betrayal money would be thrown in the Temple and then be given to buy a potter's field 1 in 200 Zechariah 11:13 fulfillment Matthew 27:5-7
10) He would be silent before His accuses 1 in 100 Isaiah 53:7 fulfillment Matthew 27:12-14

11) He would be crucified with thieves 1 chance 100  Isaiah 53:12 fulfillment Matthew 27:38

12) People would gamble for His garments  1 chance in 100 Psalm 22:18 fulfillment John 19:23-24

13) His side would be pierced 1 in 100 Zechariah 12:10 Zechariah 12:10 fulfillment John 19:34

14) None of His bones broken 1 chance 20 Psalm 34:20 fulfillment John 19:34

15) His body would not decay 1 chance in 10,000  Psalm 16:10 fulfillment Acts 2:31

16) He would be buried in a rich man's tomb. 1 chance in 100 Isaiah 53:9

17) Darkness would cover the earth 1 chance 1,000.  Amos 8:9

What are the chances that all 17 of these predictions occurred in the life of a single man rather by the divine plan of God.

The combined probability against these 17 predictions occurring is equal to
1 chance in 480 billion  x 1 billion x 1 trillion or
1 chance in 480,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
In other words there is only 1 chance in 480 billion x 1 billion x 1 trillion that the Old Testament Prophets could have accurately predicted these 17 specific prophecies.
The great debate by Grant R.Jeffrey.

8. What do The Parables of Jesus prove?

Jesus told many incredible stories like The Hidden Treasure.

What do The Parables of Jesus prove?

Matthew 13:44-46 called The Hidden Treasure.

“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls,
who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.
Matthew 13:44-46

There are no greater teachings, revealing such divine truths, that are more Inspiring, Inspirational, and Encouraging then the Parables of Jesus.
The amazing illustrations, and stories told in Parables taught by Jesus are so smartly, skilfully, expertly, and cleverly told, are one of countless proofs that give us rock solid confirmation that Jesus was from GOD, and who always claimed to be the only begotten Son.
I have added some info below.

Purpose and motive.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

In the Gospel of Matthew (13:10–17) Jesus provides an answer when asked about his use of parables:[21]

The disciples came to him and asked, "Why do you speak to the people in parables?" He replied,

"The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. This is why I speak to them in parables:
Though seeing, they do not see; through hearing, they do not hear or understand."
While Mark 4:33–34 and Matthew 13:34–35 may suggest that Jesus would only speak to the "crowds" in parables, while in private explaining everything to his disciples, modern scholars do not support the private explanations argument and surmise that Jesus used parables as a teaching method.[22] Dwight Pentecost suggests that given that Jesus often preached to a mixed audience of believers and non-believers, he used parables to reveal the truth to some, but hide it from others.[1]

Christian author Ashton Axenden suggests that Jesus constructed his parables based on his divine knowledge of how man can be taught:[23]

This was a mode of teaching, which our blessed Lord seemed to take special delight in employing. And we may be quite sure, that as "He knew what was in man" better than we know, He would not have taught by Parables, if He had not felt that this was the kind of teaching best suited to our wants.

In the 19th century, Lisco and Fairbairn stated that in the parables of Jesus, "the image borrowed from the visible world is accompanied by a truth from the invisible (spiritual) world" and that the parables of Jesus are not "mere similitudes which serve the purpose of illustration, but are internal analogies where nature becomes a witness for the spiritual world".[3]

Similarly, in the 20th century, calling a parable "an earthly story with a heavenly meaning",[24] William Barclay states that the parables of Jesus use familiar examples to lead men's minds towards heavenly concepts. He suggests that Jesus did not form his parables merely as analogies but based on an "inward affinity between the natural and the spiritual order."[24]

Not only did the history’s greatest scientists mainly believe in creation by God.
But that Albert Einstein, official 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics, a Jew, was asked:
Do you accept the historical existence of Jesus?
A. Unquestionably! No one can read the Gospels without feeling the actual
presence of Jesus. His personality pulsates in every word. No myth is filled with such life.

10. Was there any Evidence of crucifixions in the same time frame that Jesus of Nazareth was crucified?

Heel bone of crucified man named, 'Yehohanan, the son of Hagakol'.
Answer.
Yes, we also have evidence that crucifixions were taken place at the same time frame that Jesus of Nazareth was crucified.

 ----------------------------------------------------

11. If Jesus was crucified, and laid in a tomb, as told in all four Gospels, then is there a popular place that was preserved, recognised and venerated by the first Christians, as we would expect?

11. If Jesus was crucified, and laid in a tomb, as told in all four Gospels, then is there a popular place that was preserved, recognised and venerated by the first Christians, as we would expect?

Answer.
Yes, In Jerusalem there is a popular site called the Garden Tomb, believed by many to be the Tomb of Jesus.

The Garden Tomb is one of my favourite subjects, which I have done much research on, were I will share with you below.
Everything we are told from the four Gospels, about the place where Jesus was crucified, at Golgotha (which means The Place of the Skull), and where Jesus was then buried, and raised from the dead, can be physically, identified, identically, seen, at the Tomb in the Garden.

QUICK FACTS
So he delivered him over to them to be crucified. So they took Jesus, and he went out, bearing his own cross, to the place called The Place of a Skull, which in Aramaic is called Golgotha. John 19:16-17.

In 1883 British Major-General Charles George Gordon identified a site that he believed to be the tomb in which Jesus had been laid after noticing a skull face sunk into the rock opposite the old city walls. Charles George believed it to be the Golgotha as told in the four gospels.

There were also European scholars named Otto Thenius, Col. Churchill, and Fisher Howe 1871 who believed the hill to the east of the Garden Tomb fits the famous biblical Golgotha.

Just outside the old city walls, near the Damascus Gate of northern Jerusalem, there is a popular site that was known for crucifixions in the time of Jesus.

Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid. John 19:41

British Major-General Charles George Gordon also discovered that near to the place of the Skull was a tomb, which he believed it to be the site of Jesus' tomb, now called the Garden Tomb

This region of "Gordon's Calvary", Skull Hill is the northern most part of the mount called Moriah and confirms with the practices in Leviticus 1:11
and he shall kill it on the north side of the altar before the LORD, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall throw its blood against the sides of the altar.

This is the same region that Abraham brought his son Isaac to sacrifice him as told in Genesis 22.2:
Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.”

This is the same region that God was foreshadowing and serving as symbolic of an event, of something to follow, which was God's own son Jesus Christ.

This region and tomb is also outside the city gates which confirm with Hebrews 13:12: So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood.

There are ancient paintings pinpointing this same region as the location of Jesus tomb, paintings that were made before the tomb was discovered.

Ken Trestrayl, the Garden Tomb guide, confirmed he had never seen these maps before and that he was overwhelmed to see how accurate they were.

Rubin Aylett at the Jewish National and university library in Israel confirmed that the ancient paintings were drawn hundreds of years before the Garden Tomb was discovered.

The ancient paintings also identify a place near the site of the crucifixion as "Jeremiah's Grotto". Also there is such a place by the place of the skull believed by the locals to be the place where the Prophet Jeremiah retired to write the Book of Lamentations, a book of the Old Testament which chronicles the destruction of Jerusalem in 589BC.

In this region there is a cliff with the skull image sunk into its weathered rock face confirming with Matthew 27:33:
And when they came to a place called Golgotha (which means Place of a Skull),

EVIDENCE OF A WEALTHY MANS TOMB:

1. The tomb was carved out of rock

2. There is a garden at the tomb

3. In this garden there is a wine press and one of the largest water wells in Jerusalem, which must have been owned by a wealthy man, as told in Matthew 27:57.
When it was evening, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who also was a disciple of Jesus.

There is also a seal just outside the tomb, confirming with Matthew 27:65
Pilate said to them, “You have a guard of soldiers. Go, make it as secure as you can.” So they went and made the tomb secure by sealing the stone and setting a guard.

The chemical analysis of the soil proved that there was no evidence that a body had decayed there, agreeing with the resurrection of Jesus. Matthew 28:1

There is graffiti on the walls referencing the Alpha and Omega, and Jesus being the anchor of our souls.
There is also archaeological evidence of a chapel having stood outside of the tomb, this is evidence of veneration.

The naming of The Place of the Skull, such a geographical feature in such a way fits entirely with Jewish practice of the time. Other examples include Gamia, a Jewish city on the Golan which is built upon a hill like a camel's hump. 'Gamia' means 'the camel'. Also 'Susita', Aramaic for 'the horse.

There is evidence that the tomb was hurriedly extended to accommodate a taller body being about 5'11 (confirming with Matthew 28) because the Sabbath was approaching.

Ten Turin Shroud scholars all stated that the person on the Shroud of Turin was about 5 ft 11.about the same measurements as the grave in the tomb.

Barrie Schwartz the greatest expert on the Shroud of Turin stated that the height of the man on the Shroud and the grave being the same height was CERTAINLY COINCIDENTAL.

These facts are just some of many and the details of the Garden Tomb, exactly match those described in the gospels.

However like all good story tellers I am saving the best till last!!

There is one very important piece to this puzzle missing, so important that it would prove without a doubt the true whereabouts of the tomb of Jesus.

THE GREAT STONE
THE GREAT STONE. Mark 16:4. The Tomb of Jesus.

Most tombs have a stone that is rolled across the entrance to seal the tomb. However, the tomb in this garden has no stone, but there is still there to this day clearly a channel that is 15' wide, that still has the marks of a rolling stone that had once been rolled down the channel to the tomb, which proves that there was once a stone there, as the channel also has a stopper at the end to stop the stone from rolling away after sealing the Tomb.

So where is this stone today?
This original stone has never been found or been seen for 1000's of years. If we could find this stone it can only prove one thing, that this is the true tomb that was owned by Joseph of Arimathea.

WHY you may ask?
The answer is because the gospels tell us that the stone that was at this tomb was GREAT. It was not a normal size stone as the ones we so often see in the Holy Land which only just covered the entrance door to the tomb. This stone must have been, and was, and is unique. It was so large that when the two Mary's went back to the tomb, to anoint Jesus' body, as the scriptures say,
When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him.

And very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb. And they were saying to one another, “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?”
Mark 16:1-3.

Here the gospel of Mark makes this point very clearly because the stone was so large the two Mary's were obviously concerned how they would push and roll such a GREAT stone clear away. This conversation proves the stone at the TRUE tomb was most certainly unique and GREAT in size.

And how large was the stone?

The gospels do not give us the precise measurements. BUT the Greek language states the stone was
LARGE EXTREMELY:
Mark 16:4. THE GREAT STONE.

Is there a stone on this planet that fits this description?  A stone that is so large, a stone that is so different, a stone that has to be precisely the same thickness as the channel outside the tomb being 15'' wide and 9'8' in diameter.

Is there a stone that stops at the perfect height?

Is there a stone that does not cover up or overlap the small window on the right of the tomb believed to be the nephesh, a Hebrew word meaning soul hole to let out the soul.

If there was surely it would be 1 in a million!!
If there was then surely wouldn't you agree this would be the GREAT missing piece to this puzzle?

If there was such a stone would you believe it?

Well, let me tell you there is a stone that fits in the channel at the Garden Tomb and it fits as snug as a glove.
Please read on?

12. Is there any evidence of the RESURRECTION of Jesus?

We just looked at the remarkable evidence of the Garden Tomb of Jesus, where Jesus was crucified, then buried, but what about evidence supporting His RESURRECTION?

Well, there is much more.

Not only is there a GREAT STONE at Mount Nebo, but this same GREAT STONE happens to only fit ONE tomb in the world which is the Garden tomb.

This is the GREAT STONE at Mount Nebo that fits the TRUE Tomb of Jesus being the Garden Tomb.

And the GREAT STONE is very important because the Stone again confirms with what we are told in the Gospels, that Joseph of Arimathaea made and owned a GREAT STONE for His own new Tomb.

As we read in Mark 16:4.
The Resurrection
1 When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him. 2 And very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb.3 And they were saying to one another, “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?” 4 And looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled back—it was very large. 5 And entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were alarmed. 6 And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him. 7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.” 8 And they went out and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had seized them, and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.
The GREAT Stone is evidence that Jesus was raised from the dead, because Matthew 28:2, tells us: And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it.

This is the GREAT STONE at Mount Nebo that fits the TRUE Tomb of Jesus being the Garden Tomb.

GOD Almighty was revealing the greatest miracle in history, by fulfilling the many Bible prophecies, that Jesus would become the Lamb for His GOD, and be raised from the dead, and that GOD Almighty would send from heaven an angel, who would BREAK the SEAL and ROLL open the GREAT STONE, to open the Tomb of Jesus. thereby the GREAT STONE was signifying that the debt was fully paid, and Yeshua was raised from the dead and legally discharged.

But what are the facts regarding this GREAT STONE?

1. This GREAT Stone is in one piece as stated in the Bible. The Angel rolled the stone open.

2. This GREAT  Stone is the perfect thickness.

3. This GREAT  Stone is the perfect diameter.

4. This GREAT Stone is the same rock as the Garden Tomb.

5. This GREAT Stone has the same surface as the Garden Tomb.

6. This GREAT Stone has the same marks as the Garden Tomb.

7. This GREAT Stone is the same colour as the Garden Tomb.

8. This GREAT Stone fits the Garden Tomb like a glove.

9. This Garden Tomb had a Byzantine church.

10. This GREAT stone was found at a Byzantine Monastery

11. There is no GREAT stone in the world like it.

12. This GREAT stone only fits one tomb in the world - The Garden Tomb.

Yes, I believe that God has indeed revealed the truth.
This GREAT stone proves the greatest miracle in history,  that Jesus was raised from the dead, and that the Tomb in the Garden is the True Tomb of Jesus, and that whoever believes and follows Jesus will also be raised from the dead: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16.

This GREAT stone proves the greatest miracle in history,

The GREAT stone at Mount Nebo proves the Holy Bible to be forensically accurate and perfectly reliable in every possible way and in every detail truthful concerning the most important event in human history-the TOMB OF JESUS and crucifixion of Jesus, the greatest miracle in the world, the Resurrection of Yeshua. FULL ARTICLE HERE: https://wwwrealdiscoveriesorg-simon.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/my-story-and-further-evidence-of-great.html

13. What about Jesus death? As Jesus was wrapped in a burial cloth, as told in the Gospels:
So they took the body of Jesus and bound it in linen cloths with the spices, as is the burial custom of the Jews. John 19:40.
Does His burial cloth still exist today, as one would expect, for someone who was so well known and important.

Answer.
Yes, this is precisely the case.
The  burial cloths of Jesus have been preserved as a testimony, and is called the famous Shroud of Turin.

Is the Shroud of Turin a fake or a forgery as many say? Or is it truly the cloth that covered the body of Jesus Christ by Joseph of Arimathaea?

The crucifixion is the most significant event in the history of man, when God’s son Jesus Christ died so that we may be saved. Since that day, people have struggled to prove to themselves and others that the events described in the Bible really happened. Yet there remains only one real piece of concrete physical evidence for us to look to in order to discover the true face of Jesus.

The Shroud of Turin is said to be the burial cloth of Jesus, and it is at once the most controversial and talked about artefact on the planet.

Shroud of Turin

Analyzed for hundreds of years by scholars and scientists, many believe that the Shroud holds the key to proving once and for all that Jesus died for our sins just as described in The Bible.

This program discusses in accurate detail the scientific facts about the Shroud of Turin that show it is truly authentic. It addresses the infamous 1988 radiocarbon dating of the cloth that declared it medieval in origin and disputes those results with new scientific information that has come to light in recent years. It provides the viewer with an honest appraisal of what is truly known about the Shroud and does so in an interesting and honest manner.

14. The Shroud of Turin is a single cloth, then where is the second cloth used on Jesus as told in the Gospels.
and the face cloth, which had been on Jesus’ head, not lying with the linen cloths but folded up in a place by itself.
 John 20:7

Answer.

There is indeed a second cloth called the Sudarium of Oviedo.
The Sudarium of Oviedo

Blood tests conducted on the Sudarium and the Shroud of Turin prove that both are of the same blood type - AB - a rare blood type amongst medieval Europeans but common in the Middle East. What’s more, pollen samples taken from both cloths place them both in the Palestine area, and textile experts have confirmed that the Sudarium is made from the same fabric as the shroud.

The Sudarium of Oviedo and the Shroud of Turin.

Are the Shroud and the Sudarium really linked? Look and ye shall find, said Jesus. There would seem to be no doubt that both the Shroud of Turin and the Sudarium of Oviedo both covered the same man.

15. Is there any more proof that Jesus was raised from the dead?

Answer.

Yes please notice the that the Shroud of Turin has a 3 D image of Jesus.

the Shroud of Turin has a 3 D image of Jesus.

And yet the Sudarium of Oviedo which I am holding a replica of, has ‘NO' 3 D image of Jesus.

Photo of Simon Brown.
Special thanks to my good friend goodshepard, who send me the cloth.

Why is there NO 3 D image of Jesus on the Sudarium of Oviedo, as both cloths were used on the same person of Jesus.
Well we know the Sudarium of Oviedo, the FACE CLOTH, was placed over Jesus face when He was taken down from the cross, while Jesus was taken to the tomb, as I have shown on my image below.

we know the Sudarium of Oviedo, the FACE CLOTH, was placed over Jesus face when He was taken down from the cross, while Jesus was taken to the tomb, as I have shown on my image here.

Then the FACE CLOTH must have been removed by Joseph of Arimathea, and Nicodemus, and folded and put to one side, as John and Peter said and saw it: and the face cloth, which had been on Jesus’ head, not lying with the linen cloths but folded up in a place by itself. John 20:7.
Then Joseph of Arimathea, and Nicodemus, would have covered Jesus with the Shroud.
1 Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb. 2 So she ran and went to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him.” 3 So Peter went out with the other disciple, and they were going toward the tomb. 4 Both of them were running together, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. 5 And stooping to look in, he saw the linen cloths lying there, but he did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying there, 7 and the face cloth, which had been on Jesus’a head, not lying with the linen cloths but folded up in a place by itself. 8 Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; 9 for as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead. 10 Then the disciples went back to their homes.

How does this prove that Jesus was raised from the dead?
Well, by what is seen on the Shroud of Turin, and what is NOT seen on the Sudarium of Oviedo, the FACE CLOTH.
When GOD Almighty RAISED His Son Jesus from the dead, the Shroud was still covering Jesus body, which created a 3 D image of Jesus on the piece of cloth, when His body emitted, radiated, and flashed through the cloth, leaving a miracle 3 D photo negative.

3 D image of Jesus Christ on the Shroud of Turin.

The  resurrection of Jesus is what created the 3 D image of Jesus, on the Shroud, now known as the Shroud of Turin.

Shroud of Turin.

Remember, the Sudarium of Oviedo, the FACE CLOTH, was removed before Jesus was raised from the dead, and therefore the FACE CLOTH was NOT present at the resurrection of Jesus consequently leaving ‘NO' 3 D image of Jesus.

NEW DISCOVERY!! Mark Guscin,  B.A. M. Phil., discovers Latin and ancient Greek letter's on the Shroud of Turin that reads in code:  Nazarene, Tiberius and Jesus.

DISCOVERY! Ancient languages translator and historian Mark Guscin,
B.A. M.Phil., discovers Latin and ancient Greek letters on the Shroud of Turin reading the name Nazarene and Tiberius, who was a roman empara when Jesus was crucified, including words saying ''TO DEATH''.

Mark Guscin also connected with professor Shimon Gibson, PhD a British-born archaeologist living in Israel who wrote a book called "In The Final Days of Jesus." He accounts visiting a tomb he discovered in 2000 that is over 2000 years old with similar Greek-ancient inscriptions confirming the marks on the Shroud of Turin could well be genuine. Mark then continues to discover two letters in Greek above the head of the Shroud. With careful examination he discovers the name of Jesus shortened into two letters, ''IS,'' which was a Greek abbreviation for the name of Jesus.

A scientist then tries to produce a copy of the original Shroud with the latest technology, but fails miserably.

Mark then visits a mechanical engineer who examines the Shroud of Turin and states that IT IS NOT A PAINTING! That this 3D image of the shroud CAN ONLY BE EXPLAINED WITH AN ELECTRIC DISCHARGE, which created the hologram.

What do scientist say about the Shroud of Turin?

DID YOU KNOW? A group of 26 scientists performed an in-depth examination on the Shroud of Turin with the most advanced technology in human history.

What did they discover?
The 26 scientists discovered the 3 D image of a crucified man which is embedded into the Shroud of Turin believed to be Jesus Christ just as recorded in the four Gospels could not be ''reproduced'' with the best applications machinery and devices ever developed from scientific knowledge in the world history.  Jesus said: unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Deep Ultraviolet Radiation Simulates the Turin Shroud Image Paolo Di Lazzaro, Daniele Murra and Antonino Santoni ENEA, Department of Physical Technologies and New Materials, Frascati Research Center, via E. Fermi 45,00044 Frascati, Italy. What do they say? Most of the scientific data on the Shroud image are from the work carried out by a team of 26 scientists under the auspices of the Shroud of Turin Research Project, Inc., (STURP) (1978), that performed an in-depth examination on the Shroud with electromagnetic energy, from infrared to x-rays, obtaining data leading to the analysis of the sub-stances making up the body image and bloodstains. 4–12 The STURP measurements show that the body image is not painted, printed, singed by a heated bas-relief, or rubbed on a sculpture; moreover, the image color resides on the top-most fibers in the cloth weave. Reference 1 listed more than forty chemical and physical features of the Shroud image, and up to date all attempts to reproduce an image with the same microscopic and macroscopic aspect as well as all the chemical and physical characteristics have been unsuccessful. In this respect, the origin of the body image is still unknown READ THE FULL ARTICLE HERE:  https://wwwrealdiscoveriesorg-simon.blogspot.co.uk/2015/01/did-you-know-group-of-26-scientists.html

19. Why was Jesus crucified?

Why was Jesus crucified?

We all know in our world when criminals commit crimes they are punished and sent to prison. The same stands for all humans who steal lie, or commit crimes, and often commit adultery in our hearts. This is called sin.

What is the definition of sin?
An immoral act considered to be a transgression against divine law. wrongdoing, act of evil/wickedness, crime, offence, fall from grace. Which is "a sin in the eyes of God."
We humans continually live in sin because of the first man Adam's disobedience, which is breaking God's commands which grieves God's heart, because God is love and righteous who hates all and any form of evil or sin.
As we punish criminals for committing crimes. So must God, at our death, our souls live on and are sent to the spiritual prison called Hades. Just as the rich man was sent to Hades as told by Jesus in Luke 16:19.
In our world, no criminal is ever let off for free and are punished by going to prison or even receiving the death sentence depending on where they live.

Animal sacrifices.
This is not the case with our creator God.
The only way God could forgive us for breaking his commandments is to shed innocent blood. But God is merciful.
We should die for our own sin and wrongdoing but in the Old Testament times God would allow the blood of animals to cover our wrongdoing and sin.
Gods people used to offer animal sacrifices for our sins. The High Priests would make a blood of the sin offering from the blood of bulls and goats on Yom Kippur - the Day of Atonement, in the Holy of Holies, in the Temple of Jerusalem.
In Exodus 12:7 God's people were commanded to add lambs blood on the side and top of the door so the first born would be saved from death. And when they did this the first born was saved from death.
The animals blood served as a substitute and died in place of the sinner. The lambs blood and the sin offerings was symbolic and shadowed what Jesus Christ would do for the world. The animal sacrifices ceased when the final sacrifice was made on the cross by Messiah Jesus. The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:29.

The good news.
Because of God's love, grace and mercy for ALL sinners, He wants to forgive us for our sins and make us perfect even when we are not. The creator God loves us so much He has made us faultless.

HOW?
All because of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. This is how we truly know God is love. God has made it possible by His righteousness, grace, mercy and love for ALL sinners to be forgiven when we pray to Jesus and say sorry and ask God to forgive us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. When we sin God's heart is grieved. Just as our hearts grieve when we watch the news.
However the creator God demolishes all our sins when we repent and follow Jesus as our Lord and Saviour.
For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. John 1:17.
All because of Jesus who paid for our debt and the price for our sins by taking our transgressions to the cross by giving up His life to give us eternal life in God's new Kingdom to come. Jesus gave His life for us and asks us to give up our life to follow Him. When we follow Jesus and obey His commands His perfect death and sacrifice makes us righteous and we become God's children, and will live with our creator God for ever.

Why is there so much suffering and disease in this world? Because of Adam's disobedience. we humans are trapped in bondage and groaning in pain. This is why there is pain, suffering and disease in this would. Our first ancestors broke God's heart by choosing to turn their creator God away and giving authority to the Devil.
The evil in the world is now instigated by the God of this world Satan the Devil, who most prefer to follow without realising it, rather than following the true God of love, through His Son Jesus Christ. However the good news is, for the ones who follow and put their trust in God and His Son Jesus, will live on for ever and will go in a perfect paradise to come, where God will restore the world back to being more than perfect. And: He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Revelation 21:4 As born again believers, we look forward for the time just about to come when Jesus will restore the world back to Paradise; and where there will never again be any more suffering or pain, dying or killing. We look forward to seeing the day when, "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them." Isaiah 11:6. Dear friend, WILL YOU BE THERE?

Jesus came to set us free by reversing the curse of death that came because of Adam's disobedience, when the earth was cursed.
Once we accept Jesus, as He was raised from the dead, so are we directly at death and are ''set free'' from the curse, sin and the spiritual prison called (HADES) followed by Hell and death.
This is why Jesus was crucified.

This is why Jesus was crucified.
Death in Adam, Life in Christ
(Genesis 3:1-7; Genesis 7:1-5; 2 Peter 3:1-9)
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:12 - 19.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:6.

20. Why do most refuse to believe and follow Jesus?

The answer is given by Jesus in: John 3:19
And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.

Sadly MOST of the human population have refused to accept GODS amazing grace and love, by His plan of salvation, and therefor will not be saved, because they love the darkness/sin, rather then the creator and His truth, and therefore refuse to believe GOD sent and SACRIFICED, His only begotten Son Jesus, to save us.

Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

There are even many confused who believe Jesus was CRUCIFIED, but that Jesus was not SACRIFICED by GOD. They believe in the Tanakh, the Hebrew Bible, and old Testament story of  GOD asking Abraham to sacrifice His begotten Son Isaac, and yet fail to understand the simple reason, and symbolic meaning, that GOD was foreshadowing what He would LITERALLY do with His own  LITERAL begotten Son Jesus.

I have debated these type of believers, and they often change the subject when I ask them what was the purpose of GOD asking Abraham to Sacrifice his begotten son Isaac? The answer is right in front of them in verse 8: Abraham said, “God will provide for himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son.” So they went both of them together. The Lamb was foreshadowing GOD's own begotten Son, Jesus, in exactly the same way as Abraham had done, 14: So Abraham called the name of that place, “The LORD will provide”; as it is said to this day, “On the mount of the LORD it shall be provided. And the perfect SACRIFICE was provided by GOD about 2000 years later at Calvary on the land of Moriah, which was His own Begotten Son, Jesus.. See my video here: The Tomb of Jesus.

They have NO sensible explanation, and yet confirm Genesis 22, is correct, and often go silent.

English Standard Version Genesis 22
The Sacrifice of Isaac
1 After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” 2 He said, “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” 3 So Abraham rose early in the morning, saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and his son Isaac. And he cut the wood for the burnt offering and arose and went to the place of which God had told him. 4 On the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place from afar. 5 Then Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey; I and the boya will go over there and worship and come again to you.” 6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son. And he took in his hand the fire and the knife. So they went both of them together. 7 And Isaac said to his father Abraham, “My father!” And he said, “Here I am, my son.” He said, “Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?” 8 Abraham said, “God will provide for himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son.” So they went both of them together.
9 When they came to the place of which God had told him, Abraham built the altar there and laid the wood in order and bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. 10 Then Abraham reached out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son. 11 But the angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” 12 He said, “Do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.” 13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram, caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son. 14 So Abraham called the name of that place, “The LORD will provide”;b as it is said to this day, “On the mount of the LORD it shall be provided.

Conclusion.

Events generally accepted as historical
Main articles: Historical Jesus, Quest for the historical Jesus, and Christ myth theory

There is widespread disagreement among scholars on the details of the life of Jesus mentioned in the gospel narratives, and on the meaning of his teachings,[15] and the only two events subject to "almost universal assent" are that Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist and was crucified by the order of the Roman Prefect Pontius Pilate.[13][15][57][58]
According to New Testament scholar James Dunn, nearly all modern scholars consider the baptism of Jesus and his crucifixion to be historically certain.[57] He states that these "two facts in the life of Jesus command almost universal assent" and "rank so high on the 'almost impossible to doubt or deny' scale of historical 'facts' they are obvious starting points for an attempt to clarify the what and why of Jesus' mission."[57] John P. Meier views the crucifixion of Jesus as historical fact and states that based on the criterion of embarrassment Christians would not have invented the painful death of their leader.[74] The criterion of embarrassment is also used to argue in favor of the historicity of the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist as it is a story which the early Christian Church would have never wanted to invent.[75][76][77] Based on this criterion, given that John baptised for the remission of sins, and Jesus was viewed as without sin, the invention of this story would have served no purpose, and would have been an embarrassment given that it positioned John above Jesus.[75][77][78]
Amy-Jill Levine has summarized the situation by stating that "there is a consensus of sorts on the basic outline of Jesus' life" in that most scholars agree that Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, and over a period of one to three years debated Jewish authorities on the subject of God, gathered followers, and was crucified by Roman prefect Pontius Pilate who officiated 26–36 AD.[79] There is much in dispute as to his previous life, childhood, family and place of residence, of which the canonical gospels are almost completely silent.[80][81][82]
Scholars attribute varying levels of certainty to other episodes. Some assume that there are eight elements about Jesus and his followers that can be viewed as historical facts, namely:[13][83]
Jesus was a Galilean Jew.
His activities were confined to Galilee and Judea.
He was baptized by John the Baptist.
He called disciples.
He had a controversy at the Temple.
Jesus was crucified by the Romans near Jerusalem.[13][83]
After his death his disciples continued.
Some of his disciples were persecuted.[13][83]

Letter of Lentulus
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Letter of Lentulus is an epistle supposedly written by PubliusLentulus to the Roman Senate, giving a physical and personal description of Jesus. PubliusLentulus was, according to the Deeds of the Divine Augustus, a Roman Consul during the reign of Augustus (27 BC-14 AD), and is said to have been Governor of Judea before Pontius Pilate.
An English translation of the letter was published in 1680.[1]
Smith, Francis (1680). PubliusLentulus, His Report to the Senate of Rome concerning Jesus Christ. London.

Lentulus, the Governor of the Jerusalemites to the Roman Senate and People, greetings. There has appeared in our times, and there still lives, a man of great power (virtue), called Jesus Christ. The people call him prophet of truth; his disciples, son of God. He raises the dead, and heals infirmities. He is a man of medium size (staturaprocerus, mediocris et spectabilis); he has a venerable aspect, and his beholders can both fear and love him. His hair is of the colour of the ripe hazel-nut, straight down to the ears, but below the ears wavy and curled, with a bluish and bright reflection, flowing over his shoulders. It is parted in two on the top of the head, after the pattern of the Nazarenes. His brow is smooth and very cheerful with a face without wrinkle or spot, embellished by a slightly reddish complexion. His nose and mouth are faultless. His beard is abundant, of the colour of his hair, not long, but divided at the chin. His aspect is simple and mature, his eyes are changeable and bright. He is terrible in his reprimands, sweet and amiable in his admonitions, cheerful without loss of gravity. He was never known to laugh, but often to weep. His stature is straight, his hands and arms beautiful to behold. His conversation is grave, infrequent, and modest. He is the most beautiful among the children of men.

FINALLY.

What does the evidence prove?

I believe the evidence I have presented, is a mere FRACTION of the truth.
And most people know evidence proves things to be true.
If the bible is true, then we can see the evidence.
If the bible is not true, than we will not find any evidence to support it.
Have we seen any evidence that proves the bible?
Yes we can still see thousands of years later the staggering evidence to prove every story of the bible.

The many bible discoveries and information on this web site proves the Holy Bible to be forensically accurate and perfectly reliable in every possible way and in every detail truthful concerning the most important events in human history.

The whole purpose of this website and article is to help bring people to the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Some need evidence, others do not. I hope that the evidence shown on this site helps you make a decision for the Lord.

When we “believe” that Jesus Christ truly died on the cross for our sins and if we believe that Jesus rose from the dead, and follow Him by taking up our cross, you shall be saved.

1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Some need physical proof... well here it is. Some simply believe. The Bible says, “Blessed are those who have not seen, yet hath believed.” Whether you believe what I’ve shared in this website or not, and you have not yet received this free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord, now is the day. Let today be the day of your salvation!

If you are looking for the evidence of the bible, God or Jesus, here it is. It is time to turn away from our sins, believe and receive salvation, and follow Jesus. Amen.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
John 6:47

I am Simon Brown. Amen.
