Proverbs 8:34-36 Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my door posts. For whoever finds me finds life, and will obtain favor from Yahweh. But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul. All those who hate me love death.” Psalm 84: 11 For Yahweh God is a sun and a shield. Yahweh will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly. 12 Yahweh of Armies, blessed is the man who trusts in you. 1 John 5:5 Now who is the one overcoming the world, except the one believing that Jesus is the Son of God?

Join us as we walk through the Bible and discover God's 'BURIED TREASURES' in episode 1.

Buried Treasures Episode 1.

BURIED TREASURES

Matthew 13:44-46 The Hidden Treasure and the Pearl of Great Price

Buried Treasures

Matthew 13:44-46 The Hidden Treasure and the Pearl of Great Price

"The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up; then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. 45 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, 46 who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

When Jesus, who was the Word, came to this world as Emanuel, meaning God with us, he brought down from his kingdom the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven, telling us amazing stories never before told or heard.
When Jesus left the world he did not leave us as orphans but gave his Holy Spirit to those who were willing to surrender their lives to Jesus. His Holy Spirit filled them to overflowing and their bodies became temples of his spirit. Just as Jesus used an image or a story to illustrate a truth or a lesson, told to us hidden in parables, like buried treasure waiting to be discovered, for those who dug deep they would discover and understand his secrets.

Jesus left another type of treasure to illustrate a truth waiting to be discovered, many of them buried and hidden on the earth for thousands of years waiting for those who would dig deep. Only this time those truths would appear physically and would again reveal the hidden secrets which would then become more valuable then a pearl of great price.

These buried treasures are being uncovered every year, popping out of the earth like a wonderful surprise, revealing hidden secrets, just like the bulbs in springtime emerging from the ground and giving us flowers which give us pleasure with their beauty and fragrance. So are the hidden treasures of the Bible that spring out of the earth unlocking hidden evidence.

These secrets are a treasure we can all share. A treasure that shows us the truth, that helps the listener to discover the deeper meaning and underlying truth of the reality of Gods Word.
It is the only treasure that is shared with people that spreads and grows like a tiny mustard seed and then multiplies itself to be fruitful beyond measure.

This treasure radiates in those who open their hearts to receive it with joy. A treasure that never stops multiplying and impacting people from all tribes and tongue.

A treasure that can help find and save a lost soul when we allow this treasure to open our hearts.

A treasure that strengthens believers as to the wonders of God when we allow this concealed mystery to emerge from its secret hiding place.

A treasure that takes us back thousands of years to the beginning of time. A treasure that makes the poor rich. A treasure that can bring out a lesson or moral. A treasure that can make a persons foundations of faith as strong as a rock.

While these treasures are buried in different times and places they nonetheless speak of timeless realities to people of every time and place, they convey important truths about God and his Kingdom and lessons pertaining to the way of life and happiness which God has for our future.

They underline the fact that God works in every age and he meets us in the ordinary, everyday situations of life. These treasures will enlighten us if we approach them with an open mind and heart, ready to let them challenge us to the core.

WHAT TREASURE HAS THIS POWER?

These treasures which have immense religious, political and historical importance are being uncovered regularly and involve an element of surprise. They are unlocking the most hidden secrets of the most glorious past of the Holy Land, secrets of the most famous people in the world, Gods prophets, their habitations and dwelling places, their graves and final resting places.

Beautiful ossuaries (bone houses) containing the bones of the famous High Priest Caiaphas who met Jesus face to face, and as High Priest was involved in the arrest and crucifixion of Jesus remain today as evidence of Biblical history.

The names of people in the Bible carved and printed on scrolls and rock solid clay tablets, hidden in caves or buried in the ground never to be forgotten, but kept and reserved by an almighty God for safe keeping, to be revealed to the world as a testimony of Gods word. In these treasures, we are finding the divine meaning.

How amazing that we can now travel and visit and see with our own eyes, touch with our own hands, nearly all the prophets and the disciples tombs.

We can find and hold the bricks and stones that they laid for their homes such as Peters’ house, one of Jesus's 12 apostles. We can still read this stone inscription which is absolute proof that a man called Pontius Pilatus lived, the same man who washed his hands because in his being he knew that Jesus had committed no crime.

Archaeologists are still uncovering Solomon's walls of defence, the pottery they drank and ate from, their weapons they used to defend themselves and their families with.

We can still buy, hold and own Pontius Pilate's coins, a tangible and surviving witness to a time when Jesus walked on the earth.

We can still climb the broad stairway that Jesus himself climbed and entered into the second temple with his disciples. We can even see clearly the ancient Ophel and Hulda Gates with the original double archway that Jesus walked through to the temple. We can still find the remnants of shops below the Temple Mount which act as remembrance of a once vibrant market area near this place of worship.

We can still see the stones they toppled down from the Second Temple, the evidence of an attack of Titus of Rome in 70 C.E, who destroyed Jerusalem and the Second Temple foretold centuries-long ago by Moses in Deuteronomy 28:64-66, and prophesied by Jesus in Luke 19:43-44 a prophecy which was literally fulfilled.

Even the pool of Siloam, a rock cut pool, as told in the Gospel of John where Jesus healed a blind man is still to be seen. We can still visit the great building built by King Herod over the tomb of the Father of faith and the Father of the Jews, Abraham, and his sons Isaac and Jacob. We can still see where Jacob buried his wife Rachel and erected a monument over Rachel’s grave.

We can still touch the most famous wall in the world, the Wailing Wall which was expanded by King Herod who hated Jesus so much that he ordered all the baby boys up to 2 years old to be killed, hoping in his heart to kill Jesus. We can see this most evil Kings’ coins, his Temple Quarry and Herod's thick wall built around the place where Abraham drank from. Amazingly Abrahams Well still remains today.

KING HERODS TOMB

When you are in the Holy Land, traveling to the largest artificial harbour in the Mediterranean area is an absolute must! You will see the beautiful amphitheatre and a hippodrome built by Herod at Caesarea for chariot races as in the movie Ben Hur, then see where one of the greatest builders of all human history ended up at King Herod's Tomb.

You can visit one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Holy Land by driving through what many believe is one of the ruined cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and then hike up this most famous mountain and walk on the foundations of Herod's fortress at Masada and then look down to have the most perfect view of what the famous historian Flavius Josephus states, the remains of Sodom & Gomorrah of five cities are still to be seen. Look down, and consider the tons of ash, the buildings, shapes and shadows, double Canaanite walls and many types of sphinxes and ziggurats. At Sodom we see the courses of old streams, walls, dams and weirs with mortar joints, structures lining the banks of the streams, strange looking buildings with a pointed roofs.

The white ashen remains stand out clearly against the backdrop of brown mountains and hills. There is a large fortress-like construction. There is an intact well constructed of the same materials as the fortress walls and embedded in the rock is hundreds of brimstone sulphur (death balls) just as told to us in Genesis 19 v 24. Then the Lord rained down burning sulphur on Sodom and Gomorrah.

What could be a better way for God to remind us, as in 2 Peter 2:6 NIV. if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes and making them an example.

If you want to be more daring then travel to the cave that Lot visited with his daughters during his flight to escape from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah as told in Genesis 19:30

“Lot and his two daughters left Zoar and settled in the mountains, for he was afraid to stay in Zoar. He and his two daughters lived in a cave.”

MOUNT NEBO

On your way back to the Holy Land stop at the very famous mountain that the Lord led Moses to just before he died, so that he could see the promised land. There you will see the famous great stone, which my husband believes is the great Stone from The Garden Tomb which Joseph of Arimathaea cut out for his own New Tomb. The Great stone that sealed the tomb of Jesus which was ordered to be sealed by Pontius Pilate, who was mostfamous for the trial of Jesus. The Great stone that the angel rolled open and sat on. As told in Mark 16:4 And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.

THE GARDEN TOMB

Here you can literally walk through the Bible.

Check the width and the height of the great stone so when you go back to Jerusalem and visit the most popular Christian site in the world, The Garden Tomb, then look at the channel where the stone was and you will see it fits there like a glove.

Go into the most famous Tomb in the world built by Joseph of Arimathaea and see where he laid Jesus. While you are there put your fingers in the most famous split rock in the world.

Matthew 27:51 At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split.

Then, touch the most famous seal in the world. Matthew 27:65

"Take a guard," Pilate answered. "Go, make the tomb as secure as you know how." 66 So they went and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and posting the guard.

GOLGOTHA

Walk just around the corner to see where the Romans led Jesus, to crucify him and you will see the feature of the skull as mentioned in the Book of Mathew.

They came to a place called Golgotha (which means The Place of the Skull). Matthew 27.33

And on your way out don't forget to look at the wine press and the water well which must have belonged to a rich man such as Joseph of Arimathaea. These things were all written down in the four gospels nearly 2000 years ago.

When you return home from seeing these treasures order our FREE film The Evidence and The True Face of The Shroud and you will see concrete physical evidence for us to look to in order to discover the true face of Jesus.

This is the Shroud of Turin, the burial cloth of Jesus.

We belive God chose one of his own people a Jew, Barry Schwartz, to become the greatest expert on The Shroud of Turin and prove not just to the world, but his own people the Jews, that this cloth with a 3D Image of a man was not created by any artistic means currently known to mankind. And that it is impossible to create this 3D Image, showing that Jesus was indeed crucified and resurrected.

The man on the shroud, conforms exactly, to the shape and length of the burial space in the Tomb in the Garden.

The Shroud of Turin is said to be the burial cloth of Jesus and it is at once the most controversial and talked about artifact on the planet.

Analyzed for hundreds of years by scholars and scientists, many believe that the Shroud holds the key to proving once and for all that Jesus died for our sins just as described in The Bible.

Here you can watch the film with the most up-to-date evidence on the most important event in the history of man-kind. We are in the last days. Now the scoffers have been and gone. It is Time!!

Discover the TRUTH here for FREE.

Here you can learn what scientists have now discovered.

Sit down and fasten your seatbelts. What I am going to tell you is that according to scientists there is absolute proof that the Shroud could not be a forgery.

Here you will learn scientists claimed that the corner from which the radiocarbon sample had been taken was in fact a re-woven, patched, or repaired corner.

You will also learn about Marino and Sue Benford’s brilliant piece of detective work. They found clear indications of a discrete repair to the Shroud.

Here you will learn about Ray Rogers who was an explosives research expert and thermal analyst. He discovered Madder root dye and gum on the fibres of the Shroud.

This is clear evidence of the careful mending of the Shroud that was intended to be imperceptible and of a thread indicating a medieval repair.

Here you will learn about Peter Shumacher, the inventor of the NASA VP-8 Image Analyser describing the discovery of the 3D image. He states; ‘I had never heard of the Shroud of Turin before that moment. I had no idea what I was looking at. However, the results were unlike anything I have ever seen’.

Treasures that surprise us and reveal to us the ancient histories and mysteries of God and mankind.

Follow me as we discover - The Buried Treasures of God

We are in a time when it seems as if God is now bringing his Treasures to us. WHY? Is he trying to reach us? What does he want from us? What does he want us to know? Does he love us? Who knows? Let’s see where he wants us to go. I'm prepared to listen and follow. ARE YOU?

The Flood Tablets

If we take a visit to the British Museum we can go back 1000's of years in time and see with our own eyes amazing pieces of evidence of both archaeological and biblical significance. For instance you can take a look at a very old piece of clay, called the eleventh tablet of the Gilgamesh which was made 1000's of years ago by the Mesopotamians who told their versions of the story of Noah's ark and the flood hundreds of years before the first book of the Old Testament was even written.
How did the Mesopotamians know about the biblical story of Noah in the book of Genesis, if it wasn't written? There can be only one way. IT HAPPENED!!

HERE WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY ROCK SOLID EVIDENCE OF THE GREAT FLOOD IMPRINTED ON SOLID CLAY.

Did you know that there are stories of Noah and the Great Flood documented as history or legend in almost every region on earth? A man named H.S. Bellamy in Moons, Myths and Men believes that there are stories of the great flood that were recorded in 500 Flood legends worldwide.

Seven Wonders of the Ancient World

Let’s now look at one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The Bible tells us many stories of a King called Nebuchadnezzar who is most famous for the legendary city he built called the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, which was constructed for his homesick wife to remind her of her homeland, in Persia.

The Hanging Gardens of Babylon

These famous gardens are now documented in our history books today as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one of the Wonders that may have been purely legendary.

As usual, scholars doubted whether Babylon ever existed until archaeologists stood in awe as they discovered the remains of the ancient city walls of Kasr – also called Palace or Castle, a temple of Marduk which also contained shrines to Ea and Nabu.

We can still see many parts of the ancient city-state of Babylon today near present-day Al Hillah, Babil province, in Iraq.

Ancient Stone Tablet

Recent discoveries are the drawings of the Tower of Babel with King Nebuchadnezzar II, on an ancient stone tablet.
These drawings have clear images of the Tower of Babel as recorded in Genesis 11:4

And they said, "come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven.

There is also a clear image of King Nebuchadnezzar II standing next to the Tower of Babel.

Bible Prophecies

Bible prophecies were told by the Hebrew prophets in Jeremiah 50 and 51 and Isaiah 13:19 and 14:23.The prophets of God said Babylon would be overthrown, permanently and it would be reduced to swampland.
Babylon will be a heap of ruins a haunt of jackals, an object of horror and scorn, a place where no one lives. Jeremiah 51:37
In the 1800's, when archaeologists excavated Babylon, there were many parts that could not be excavated. WHY? The reason being that they were under a water table that had risen over the years. Just as predicted by Isaiah 14:23, "I will turn her into a place for owls and into swampland."

There is also a clear image of King Nebuchadnezzar II standing next to the Tower of Babel.

Qumran

Let’s now go back to the Holy land and visit the most popular tourist attraction, with the exception of the Wailing Wall.

A place called Qumran on the North West shore of the Dead Sea. This site boasted a Jewish population as far back as 800 BC and for 200 years it was home to a breakaway group called the Essenes.

They lived and studied here and were Qumran’s true claim to fame.

You can walk through what had been a large building comprising of assembly halls and a central dining room, a kitchen and baths, a laundry room and watch tower, a stable and pottery workshop and most importantly, a scriptorium. Here, among the desks and ink wells over 2,000 years ago, the Essene scribes wrote the famous Dead Sea scrolls.

The Dead Sea Scrolls

Let’s now look at the greatest manuscript discovery of this generation - The Dead Sea Scrolls. They were Jewish documents which were found at Khirbet Qumran in 11 caves on the shore of the Dead Sea in 1947 and 1956. They had a tremendous impact on biblical scholarship. They are priceless treasures. These shed light on the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testaments that helped shape the development of Christianity. These 2,000 year old scripts are identical to our Bible today.

Engedi

While we are here sitting on the western shore of the Dead Sea let’s see where King David hid from King Saul, here in Eng’edi.

David hid from King Saul in this place. 1 Samuel 19 says that King Saul wanted to kill David, and he chose to flee to Eng’edi and hide in comfort. Who could blame him? The name Eng’edi means The Spring of the Kid Goat and there is ample evidence that young ibex have always lived near these springs. David’s pursuers evidently roamed the crags of the ibex in search of him. In one of these caves, David cut off the corner of Saul’s robe. 1 Samuel v 24 tells us that King Saul was told that David was in the desert of Eng’edi. He chose three thousand men from all Israel and set out to search for David and his men. By the crags of the wild goats, near some sheep pens, he found a cave and went in to relieve himself. The fugitives were far back in the cave, but David crept up un-noticed and cut off a corner of Saul’s robe. There are many caves here and this may have happened in one of them.

On your way out cross over the road and see where the Kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell in the slime pits as told in Genesis 14 v 10. And the vale of Siddim was full of slime pits, and the Kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there, and they that remained fled to the mountains.

Mount Moriah

Journey back with me from the lowest depths of the earth to the highest heights of the many mountings of Jerusalem, to the city regarded to be in the centre of the world, through dangerous terrain, over mountains and seas, to the most famous Mount Moriah above the place of the skull, and the tomb of Jesus, standing an impressive 777 meters high, above sea level and described as “God’s number” the Holy Trinity of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. It is the very place where Abraham was to sacrifice his son Isaac.

This is one of the highest point of Mount Moriah, Simon Brown found this strange shape very old tree, he believes its around this area Abraham was to sacrifice Isaac above the place of the skull and Garden Tomb

Could this be where Jesus was crucified?
Here stands a graveyard, which is very ancient, and it is a minor miracle in itself how it has managed to survive thousands of years’ worth of wars right here in the middle of Jerusalem. Personally, we see God’s hand directly shielding it from harm, to ensure that the memory of Abraham’s sacrifice, and later of his own son Jesus Christ, would never be lost.

Abraham's Oak

Let’s go now to the Plain of Mamre, Abraham's Oak. This is believed to be the area where the Lord and two angels visited Abraham’s camp and informed him that he would have a son named Isaac. Abraham built an altar here.

Genesis 13. v 18 tells us, “So Abram moved his tents and went to live near the great trees of Mamre at Hebron, where he built an altar to the Lord”.
A very ancient and gnarled oak tree stands behind railings, supported by various means. According to tradition it is opposite the very spot where Abraham dwelt in his tent when the angels promised him a son and heir. Here also, he negotiated with Ephron the Hittite for Sarah’s burial cave.

Josephus is probably referring to it in Jewish Antiquities 1:10 No 4, where he writes, “now Abraham dwelt near the oak called Ogyges”. The place is in Canaan and is not far from Hebron.

The exact age of the tree is not known. Due to its great age, it has to be supported by both metal frames and wooden props. Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. While they ate he stood near them under a tree. The Lord said to Abraham I will surely return to you about this time next year and Sarah your wife will have a son”. Is it possible that this is the very tree? It is certainly very ancient.

HOUSE OF DAVID INSCRIPTION

What about King David who was the King of Israel? This is a story that many of us have also laughed at, the story of the boy David challenging the giant Goliath, striking Goliath in the forehead with a stone from his sling knocking him out and then chopping off Goliaths head with his sword.

What's so funny about that you may ask?

Well this was just one of many stories in the Bible with no evidence outside the Bible to prove it.
Now we can stop laughing as for the first time ever there is clear archaeological evidence which was discovered in 1993 at Tel Dan called THE HOUSE OF DAVID INSCRIPTION also known as the Tel Dan Stele and Mesha Stele.
This is proof and is circumstantial evidence that David had once lived, or at least that the Judahites believed he had.

SAMSON

When we were children many of us heard of famous Bible stories like Samson and Delilah who you may recall was the Israelite hero who had strength granted by God. Samson was granted supernatural strength in order to combat his enemies and perform heroic feats such as wrestling a lion slaying an entire army with only a jawbone of a donkey and destroying a blasphemous temple

With stories like this it is easy to believe it is just a fairy tale like Father Christmas coming down the chimney to surprise us with wonderful presents. Not until we grow up we then discover there is no evidence concerning the reality of Father Christmas and we then realise our parents tricked us into believing in a fairy tale. However when we start to seek we then start to find.

We now find archaeology has been found to support yet another biblical story. Most of the events of Samson’s life took place in the Sorek Valley near Beit Shemesh Israel.

Recent excavations have shown thriving cities and villages here from the Middle Bronze Age through the Iron II period and the buildings contained fragments of numerous pottery storage vessels.

Ancient remains of the city where we believe Samson, Judge of Israel, lived.

All the places in the Bible like Zorah and Eshtaol where Samson's mother prophesied his birth and Samson grew up and wanted to marry a Philistine girl from Timnah have been found including Excavations of Beth Shemesh and the Sorek Valley. It is near this area where he killed the lion.

His last girlfriend Delilah also lived somewhere near here. But what about Samson's fate, what can cause such a mighty man with great strength to fall, have his eyes torn out; and become a slave, weak ,blind helpless, mocked and shamed at a Philistine stronghold?
UCG Portland Mini Study Archaeology supports the story of Samson and Philistine temple

Critics, of course, have doubted the story and called it a myth. They have argued that a Philistine temple would not have had two central pillars supporting the roof since this wasn't a typical architectural design of Middle Eastern temples.

Archaeologist Bryant Wood explains the significance of the discoveries:

“Two Philistine temples have been uncovered by archaeologists. Both temples share a unique design, the roof was supported by two central pillars! The pillars were made of wood and rested on stone support bases. With the pillars being about six feet apart a strong man could dislodge them from their stone bases and bring the entire roof crashing down. The archaeological findings match the Biblical story perfectly and attest to the plausibility of the account.

“The Bible writer knew his facts. He knew that Philistine temples were supported by two pillars and that this was how Samson pulled the temple down. The report is that of an eye-witness, again demonstrating that indeed the Bible is the world’s most accurate textbook” (“Samson and the Temple of Dagon.” Bible and Spade, 1974, pp. 53-54). By UCG Portland Mini Study Archaeology.

If this story of Samson is true for someone who was so famous then why can’t we find his grave as after his death we are told that Samson's family recover his body from the rubble and bury him.

Samson’s Tomb

Just off the motorway that leads to Jerusalem and Tel Aviv is a road that runs through the Jewish National Fund (JNF)’s President’s Forest. This beautiful area is studded with eye-catching sculptures and serene picnic areas.

As you continue through the road it comes into the land and country of the famous Samson, as told in Judges 13. Located in this area is the burly champion’s birth and burial “between Zor’a and Eshta’ol” (Judges 13:24). This book tells of Samson's mother - the woman who gave birth to the strong young boy. Samson grew and the LORD blessed him; and whilst he was in Mahaneh Dan (between Zorah and Eshtaol), the Spirit of the LORD began to stir him.

Here is the tragic hero’s burial place. Here you can see the white-washed, blue-domed traditional tomb of Samson and that of his father Manoah.

Samson may have lost his eyes but after his repentance God saved his soul and Samson’s legacy lives on.

ST PAUL'S TOMB UNEARTHED IN ROME

What evidence is there to suggest that this is the famous Apostle Paul, Saul of Tarsus, now known as Turkey, and Saint Paul of c. AD 5 – c. AD 67 who wrote half of the New Testament.

There is evidence that people traveled here since the first centuries of Christianity.

3600 coins were found in the tomb believed to have been left behind by visitors from around the world. The coins are from different time periods before and after Christ. They left the coins to show the long journey they had taken to get to the apostles tomb.

Why would people travel many miles if they did not believe this tomb to be something of significance? Strangely enough we still do a similar thing to day by traveling to places and throwing coins in a well. Let St Paul's tomb remind us, whether this tomb is true or false, St. Paul's legacy lives on.

Tomb of St Philip

Is this the tomb of St Phillip one of Jesus disciples? An Italian professor believes he has discovered the Tomb of St Phillip in the ancient city of Hierapolis in the Aegaen province of Denizil Turkey.

The leading archaeologist D'andria discovered the remnants of an unknown church forty metres away from the St Phillip church after excavations at the ancient city for 32 years.

The Tomb Jesus (YESHUA) Raises Lazarus From the Dead

Let’s visit the place where one of the greatest miracles was performed by Jesus - The Tomb of Lazarus.

Here is believed to be the tomb, where Jesus raised Lazarus who had been dead for 4 days, as told in John 11.

Tomb of Lazarus

Here is an Orthodox Church, which was built in the town over the tomb of St. Lazarus, the brother of Mary and Martha. It is believed He died here and was buried in the church named after him. In 890 A.D. his tomb was found bearing the inscription "Lazarus the friend of Christ".

Bones Of John The Baptist

1 In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the Desert of Judea
2 and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”
3 This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah:“A voice of one calling in the desert,‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him."
 Matthew 3:1

Do you remember one of the greatest Prophets ever to have lived, the man who prepared the way for Jesus,
The man who foretold the coming of Jesus before being beheaded on the orders of King Herod, with his head served up on a plate.

Yes, St John the Baptist as told in Mathew 3:1

Bulgarian archaeologists have claimed to have found the remains of fragments of his skull, bones from a jaw and an arm, and a tooth in ancient reliquary, which was then discovered embedded in an altar in the ruins of the ancient monastery on the island in the Black Sea.

JACOBS WELL

Let’s continue to travel over dangerous terrain, over mountains to the city of Shechem in Canaan where still today remains the very water well Jacob dug and drank from.

The very place Jacob purchased from the sons of Hamor in (Gen. 33:19).

Genesis 33:18 18 After Jacob came from Paddan Aram, (b) he arrived safely at the (c) city of Shechem in Canaan and camped within sight of the city.
19 For a hundred pieces of silver, (d) he bought from the sons of Hamor, the father of Shechem, the plot of ground where he pitched his tent.
20 There he set up an altar and called it El Elohe Israel

This is the very same place Jesus meets and speaks with the Samaritan woman, telling her secrets about her self that only she knew.

John 4
Jesus speaks with a Samaritan Woman 4 Now he had to go through Samaria.
5 So he came to a town in Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of ground Jacob had given to his son Joseph.
6 Jacob's well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about the sixth hour.

Capital city of Ramses II

Let’s journey back from Jacobs well over the highest heights of the many mountains of Jerusalem, over the centre of the world, through dangerous terrain, over mountains and seas, to the capital city of Rameses II.

DISCOVERED a huge 500-horse stable built by Ramses for the biblical EXODUS. Watch this amazing video by Discovery Channel.
The largest and the oldest horse stable ever to be discovered was found by a German-Egyptian archaeological team using cutting-edge high-tech equipment. The stable was built by Ramses II to breed and raise up to 460 horses. The grounds are 3,300-years-old and located in the city of Piramesse, which is located 115 kms northeast of Cairo at Qantira—a farming village in the Nile Delta province of Sharqiya. They also found bronze pieces of battle chariots, stones for attaching trappings to the horses and two-wheeled war chariots. Numerous reliefs on the temple and tomb walls show that the chariots were pulled by two horses and ridden by two soldiers. Gaballa Ali Gaballa—Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA)—believes it is where the 500 horses were kept for the biblical EXODUS 14. SB. Updated by Linda on 9/04/2013.

Exodus 14
King James Bible
And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us? 6 And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him: 7 And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them. 8 And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand. 9 But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.

Let’s travel far and wide over the Red Sea to the most famous rock in the world in Saudi Arabia, discovered by Jim and Penny Caldwell Of Split Rock Research Foundation. Here is the Rock at Horeb, or the Split Rock,

Here is where: all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink.
2 Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the LORD?
3 And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?
4 And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.
5 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, where with thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go.
6 Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
7 And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not?

Biblical Joseph

Let’s go back even further to Jacob’s son, the Biblical Joseph in Genesis 37, famously known to most people today as Joseph with the amazing technicolour dreamcoat.

Archeologists have discovered ancient Egyptian coins bearing the name and image of the biblical Joseph.

Thank you for joining me in seeking out life-changing experiences from the lowest depths of terrain, over mountains and seas, traveling together to the most famous places in the world.

We pray you have seen that God and his treasures are most certainly real, always remembering, one more thing, Gods greatest treasure, yes that’s you my friend.
