The Tel Dan Stele, also known as the House of David Inscription, is one of the most significant archaeological discoveries relating to the Bible. Dating to approximately 835 BC, it contains the phrase "House of David" and provides important historical evidence that the Davidic dynasty was recognised by Israel's neighbouring kingdoms.
