Question: What is spiritual blindness?

Many people are blind. How can that be? Perhaps the Bible can give us some answers. Consider this verse; 2 Corinthians 4:4, “The God of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” And the bible says that the god of this age is Satan. 2 Corinthians 3:14, “But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed because only in Christ is it taken away. Even to this day when Moses is read a veil covers their hearts, but whenever anyone turns to the Lord the veil is taken away.” The Bible is telling us that we are blinded from the truth until we accept Jesus. Matthew 23:24, “You blind guides. You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel.” Jesus here is saying that people will believe in something with little to support it, but will reject something with much more evidence. It would seem the devil really does have the power to blind us. The simple truth is, accept Jesus and He will remove the veil!
Matthew 15:14, “Leave them. They are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man both will fall into a pit.” This is what is going on. Most people are following the blind. John 12:40, He has blinded their eyes and deadened their hearts, so they can never see with their eyes nor understand with their hearts, nor turn and I would heal them.”  The theme of people being blinded from the truth continues throughout the
Bible.          

                                            

Most people in the world will not make it to the kingdom of heaven.  Sorry, I didn’t say it, Jesus did; and yet all you have to do is accept and follow Him. What have you to lose? If you are right you will enter heaven and be with God your Father. You won’t find odds like that at your local turf accountant! The instructions are pretty simple too. Accept Jesus and follow Him.
Matthew 7:13, “ Enter through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction and many may enter through it, but small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” God loves you and will forgive whatever sins you have committed. Ask and you may have everlasting life.
John 14:6, “I am the way and the truth and the life.” Also, John 3:16, “ For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life, for God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only son. This is the verdict. Light has come into the world but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.” And again, Proverbs 3 V 5, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” So do not trust in the blind, but trust in God who cannot lie.
The Bible can be viewed as a manual for living if you like. If you buy a kettle or a toaster, you will also receive an operating manual. The purpose of this is to help you get the very best from the product and to avoid dangerous practises. The Bible does just the same in teaching you how to get the best from your life and even after it. All the answers are there if you look. Jesus says, Matthew 7 v 7, “Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you, for everyone who asks receives, he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks the door will be opened.” Foolish people, when they buy their toaster or kettle, just throw the instruction manual in the bin. Later the product has a problem. The toaster only toasts on one side. What do we do about it? Where shall we take it for repair? Oh dear, now we know what the manual was for. Fortunately most of us are more sensible and place the manual somewhere safe, where we can find it when things go wrong. What about the Bible? Have you thrown that in the bin or put it somewhere where you can refer to it when something goes wrong with your life. After all, your life is hopefully much longer and more important than a domestic appliance and the faults often a lot more serious. At the end of life the door closes. Too late to look for the manual. It didn’t come with you and there’s no-one to ask. Luke 13 V 28,”there will be weeping there and gnashing of teeth.” Souls will be weeping because they would not listen or give the Bible a chance while they had it, and they will be gnashing their teeth because they realise there is no way back and it’s all too late.
God gave us all free will. It would have been easy to force us all to obey Him but that is not His way. He expects you to find Him just as, if you were adopted, you would try to find your natural parents. He is waiting to open the door to you, no matter what you have done wrong. What a truly merciful God. Jesus said, John 5 V 24, “I tell you the truth. Whoever hears my word and believes in Him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned. He has crossed over from death to life.” So you can enter through the gate to eternal life and be with God the Creator whom Jesus calls our Father. Be a part of God’s family. Christ was nailed to the cross for our sins. He rose from his tomb after three days and is alive today. He wants to make himself known to us all, to forgive us and cleanse us and bring us to eternal life. Revelations 3 V 20, “Here I am. I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door I will come in and eat with him and he with me.”

SOMETHING YOU MUST DO.

Accept Jesus Christ into your life to be your Lord and Saviour, your friend and guide, and be with you. So many miss this very important last step, therefore not making it to life and never opening the door to Jesus, as he will not force his way into your life. You must invite him in. The handle to the door on the outside is missing. Only you can open it on the inside, so find a quiet place on your own in a room, close the door behind you, and remember God loved you so much that He watched His only son being mocked, spat on, punched, whipped and nailed on a cross with a spear in his side. Could you do the same to your daughter or son? This shows how much God loves us, so when you have thought of the amazing true courage that Jesus displayed, say a prayer. You must repent and believe in Jesus Christ, so pray sincerely with this prayer:
THE SINNER’S PRAYER

Dear GOD the Father, I admit that i have been living in rebellion to you. I now believe that you sent your begotten son Jesus  who died so that i might be forgiven all my sin. please forgive me now. please come into my life by your holy spirit and help me to live in a way that pleases you. I asked you to be my GOD and Father and  saviour, and Jesus to be my saviour, my master and my dearest friend all the days of my life………..amen.

1 John 1 V 9, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” Therefore if you have prayed sincerely, you can know that God has forgiven you. You have his word on it. Do not rely on your feelings. You may not tell any difference at the moment. Trust His sure promises. John 6 V 47, “I tell you the truth. He who believes in me has everlasting life. I am the bread of life.”

THE WAY FORWARD

You have begun the journey into life and are now at the start of a new life. You have in Jesus Christ, an all powerful and ever present friend and captain, but in Satan, a cunning and strong enemy. You need to grow strong as a Christian. You need food, air and exercise.
Food.
The bible is the Christian’s food. It is a living book and through it, God will speak to you. Read it every day.
Air.
Prayer is the Christian’s air. Talk to GOD as your Father, through Jesus as your best friend, yet respectfully, remembering who they are. Spend time alone with GOD and Jesus daily.
Exercise.

FACT. Just as a computer was built to ONLY do what it was designed to do. And cannot change on its own, unless the designer programs it to do different commands, which we know has an intelligent designer humans.

FACT. Just as DNA was created to ONLY do and build what it was designed to create and build. And cannot change on its own, unless the designer programs it with different molecules in the DNA, the building blocks that create life, which has an intelligent designer (GOD)

It Is A Fact. Elephants only give birth to little elephants, giraffes to giraffes, dogs to dogs, and so on for every type of living creature. DNA The building blocks of ALL life cannot and does NOT change from what it was created to build by God. FACT. We all know Birds are born from eggs, so where did the first egg come from to produce the bird? Did the egg just appear from nowhere on its own?

Or where did the first chicken come from to produce the first egg? Did the chicken just appear from nowhere on its own?
One cannot be produced without the other, and one of them must have come first to produce the other. They both need one another to make each other.

Most of us know it is the DNA in the egg which is the building block. It consists of individual molecules that commands the building of the chick's body, bones, eyes, ears, beak, feet, wings and the many organs that make a cute fluffy baby chick.
However understanding the DNA, does not explain which one came first and brings us back to the beginning. Which one came first?  The chicken or the egg?

FACT.
It can only be the hen Chicken that came first which produced the DNA in the egg that has the individual molecules and plans which commands the building of the chick's body.
If this is the case, which it can only be, then where did the first hen chicken appear from?

As we now know the mother chicken must of existed first to create the first egg.
And It takes DNA to create DNA, from the hen chicken passed down to the egg to build the baby chick.

Then where did the first hen chicken come from and get the complicated, perfect sophisticated DNA building blocks from in the beginning?

Did the highly complicated and sophisticated DNA in the hen chicken develop by itself over millions of years? by Evolution which means change over time, and refers to observed changes in organisms.


WHAT IS 
EVOLUTION?

LETS LOOK MORE CLOSELY AT THE  CRAZY THEORY OF EVOLUTION.

Can you see how mad the THEORY OF EVOLUTION is? I wonder if I was to leave my Ford escort for a long time, would it change into a Rolls Royce?

FACT
Unless the DNA is complete, instantly, it could never develop into life to be able to change over time.

The DNA is so highly complicated and sophisticated that it could not have come into existence by random chance or by accident.

Clockwork.
Although DNA is far more complicated and sophisticated than the inner workings of a mechanical clock, it is still clever and complex. As we know the Clockwork Mechanism did not develop itself by random chance or accident, but was created by intelligent designers called human beings.

FACT. 
The mechanical parts of a clock have to all be present to function.

FACT 
Just as the DNA in the first hen chicken had to all be present to be passed down to the first egg to develop into the first perfect chick.

The mathematical odds of the complex clock mechanism being able to develop itself by random chance or by accident is impossible.

The mathematical odds of the complicated and sophisticated and perfect DNA developing by random chance or by accident are impossible.

As humans built the complex mechanism of the clock, so did God create the first complicated and sophisticated DNA in the first chicken that created the first egg, that built the first chick.

We are going around in circles and are again back to the beginning.
What came first. The chicken or the egg?. This is a question that evolution cannot answer.

FACT
The Bible gives us the perfect answer. God created the first birds with the ability to create eggs to reproduce after their own kind.(Genesis 1:20-22). This proves the Holy Bible was inspired by the creator GOD, THROUGH His Son Jesus Christ.

How did the prophet of God Isaiah know some 2700 years ago the earth was round as a circle? Because God told Him in (Isaiah 40:22) It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth.

Leviticus 15:13 Biblical Accuracy Dealing with diseases.

During the 19th century, women in childbirth were dying at alarming rates in Europe and the United States.

Women who delivered their babies in Hospitals died from child bed fever (puerperal sepsis), later to be found to be caused by Streptococcus pyogenes.

It was discovered that students were not washing their hands under running water.

How did Moses an important prophet in Christianity know about the danger of not washing under running water about 3500 of years ago. God the creator already knew this and told Moses to warn His people in Leviticus 15:13. And when he that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean. This can only prove one thing.
The prophets of the Holy Bible where inspired by the creator GOD. Do you know Him, and his son?

 Because God told him in (Job 26:7) (God) hangeth the earth upon nothing. This proves the Holy Bible was inspired by the creator GOD.

Biblical Accuracy. The Expanding Universe.

For thousands of years, astronomers wrestled with basic questions about the size and age of the universe. Does the universe go on forever, or does it have an edge somewhere? Has it always existed, or did it come to being some time in the past?

How extraordinary and reliable is (Isaiah 40:22) God told Isaiah that (God) stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain. 1000's of years before this was discovered by Edwin Hubble, an astronomer. This proves the Holy Bible was inspired by the creator GOD.

In Genesis 17:12, God commanded Abraham to circumcise baby boys on the eighth day of their lives. Why day eight? Is there any good, scientific rationale behind such a command?


A.


The faith of each individual Christian rests upon the bedrock foundation of the Bible’s inspiration. If the Bible is of human origin, then it logically follows that the facts and doctrines found therein are only as reliable as human knowledge can be. However, if the biblical records were provided by the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:20-21), then we have every reason to believe that the facts and doctrines recorded therein are free of those imperfections and blemishes that characterize all purely human efforts.


The Greek word used in the New Testament to express the concept of inspiration istheopneustos, and itself derives from two roots—theos, God, and pneustos, breathed (frompneo, to blow or breathe). Theopneustos, therefore, would mean “God-breathed.” The word implies an influence from without producing effects that are beyond natural powers. The proper view of inspiration often is referred to as being verbal (word-for-word) and plenary(complete). This concept suggests that men wrote what God directed, without errors or mistakes, yet with their own personalities reflected in their writings.


A close examination of the Bible reveals startling proof of its inspiration. Sometimes that proof comes in the form of prophecy (always minutely foretold and completely fulfilled). Sometimes the proof comes in the form of scientific facts that were placed in the divine record hundreds or thousands of years before they were known to the modern scientific mind. This brief article deals with the latter—an important piece of scientific foreknowledge found with the biblical text that was completely unknown to man until fairly recently.


In Genesis 17:12, God specifically directed Abraham to circumcise newborn males on theeighth day. Why the eighth day? In 1935, professor H. Dam proposed the name “vitamin K” for the factor in foods that helped prevent hemorrhaging in baby chicks. We now know vitamin K is responsible for the production (by the liver) of the element known as prothrombin. If vitamin K is deficient, there will be a prothrombin deficiency and hemorrhaging may occur. Oddly, it is only on the fifth through the seventh days of the newborn male’s life that vitamin K (produced by bacteria in the intestinal tract) is present in adequate quantities. Vitamin K, coupled with prothrombin, causes blood coagulation, which is important in any surgical procedure. Holt and McIntosh, in their classic work, Holt Pediatrics, observed that a newborn infant has “peculiar susceptibility to bleeding between the second and fifth days of life.... Hemorrhages at this time, though often inconsequential, are sometimes extensive; they may produce serious damage to internal organs, especially to the brain, and cause death from shock and exsanguination” (1953, pp. 125-126). Obviously, then, if vitamin K is not produced in sufficient quantities until days five through seven, it would be wise to postpone any surgery until some time after that. But why did God specify day eight?


On the eighth day, the amount of prothrombin present actually is elevated above one-hundred percent of normal—and is the only day in the male’s life in which this will be the case under normal conditions. If surgery is to be performed, day eight is the perfect day to do it. Vitamin K and prothrombin levels are at their peak. The chart below, patterned after one published by S.I. McMillen, M.D., in his book, None of These Diseases, portrays this in graphic form.

Dr. McMillen observed:


We should commend the many hundreds of workers who labored at great expense over a number of years to discover that the safest day to perform circumcision is the eighth. Yet, as we congratulate medical science for this recent finding, we can almost hear the leaves of the Bible rustling. They would like to remind us that four thousand years ago, when God initiated circumcision with Abraham....
Abraham did not pick the eighth day after many centuries of trial-and-error experiments. Neither he nor any of his company from the ancient city of Ur in the Chaldees ever had been circumcised. It was a day picked by the Creator of vitamin K (1984, p. 93).


Moses’ information, as recorded in Genesis 17:12, not only was scientifically accurate, but was years ahead of its time. How did Moses have access to such information? The answer, of course, is provided by the apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 3:16—“Every scripture is inspired of God.”

The prothrombin time (PT) and its derived measures of prothrombin ratio (PR) and international normalized ratio (INR) are measures of theextrinsic pathway of
coagulation. This test is also called "ProTime INR" and "PT/INR". They are used to determine the clotting tendency of blood, in the measure of warfarin dosage,
liver damage, and vitamin K status. PT measures factors I (fibrinogen), II (prothrombin), V, VII, and X. It is used in conjunction with the activated partial
thromboplastin time (aPTT) which measures the intrinsic pathway.

Laboratory measurement[edit]

The reference range for prothrombin time depends on the analytical method used, but is usually around 12-13 seconds (results should always be interpreted using
the reference range from the laboratory that performed the test), and the INR in absence of anticoagulation therapy is 0.8-1.2. The target range for INR in
anticoagulant use (e.g. warfarin) is 2 to 3. In some cases, if more intense anticoagulation is thought to be required, the target range may be as high as 2.5-3.5
 depending on the indication for anticoagulation.^[1]

Methodology[edit]

The prothrombin time is most commonly measured using blood plasma. Blood is drawn into a test tube containing liquid sodium citrate, which acts as an
anticoagulant by binding the calcium in a sample. The blood is mixed, then centrifuged to separate blood cells from plasma. In newborns, a capillary whole
blood specimen is used.^[2]

The plasma is analyzed by a biomedical scientist on an automated instrument at 37°C, which takes a sample of the plasma. An excess of calcium is added
 (thereby reversing the effects of citrate), which enables the blood to clot again. For an accurate measurement the proportion of blood to citrate needs to be fixed;
many laboratories will not perform the assay if the tube is underfilled and contains a relatively high concentration of citrate. If the tube is underfilled or overfilled
with blood, the standardized dilution of 1 part anticoagulant to 9 parts whole blood is no longer valid. For the prothrombin time test the appropriate sample is
sodium citrate tube, which is a liquid anticoagulant.

Tissue factor (also known as factor III) is added, and the time the sample takes to clot is measured optically. Some laboratories use a mechanical measurement,
 which eliminates interferences from lipemic and icteric samples. The prothrombin ratio is the prothrombin time for a patient, divided by the result for control
plasma.

International normalized ratio[edit]

The result (in seconds) for a prothrombin time performed on a normal individual will vary according to the type of analytical system employed. This is due to the
variations between different batches of manufacturer's tissue factor used in the reagent to perform the test. The INR was devised to standardize the results.
Each manufacturer assigns an ISI value (International Sensitivity Index) for any tissue factor they manufacture. The ISI value indicates how a particular batch
of tissue factor compares to an international reference tissue factor. The ISI is usually between 1.0 and 2.0. The INR is the ratio of a patient's prothrombin time
to a normal (control) sample, raised to the power of the ISI value for the analytical system used.

Interpretation[edit]

The prothrombin time is the time it takes plasma to clot after addition of tissue factor (obtained from animals such as rabbits, or recombinant tissue factor, or from
 brains of autopsy patients). This measures the quality of the extrinsic pathway (as well as the common pathway) of coagulation. The speed of the extrinsic pathway

I think I might shout from the roof tops about this until some-one shoots me. But there again beheading could be better. I wish I could ask John the Baptist what beheading feels like. I don't believe there will be any pain from loosing our head's if it is done by the guillotine.
