Mark 10:18. As Jesus is Good Is Jesus GOD?

 

Here is a scripture that many believe proves Jesus is GOD.

Let's also have a look at a comment I received below:

In Mark 10:18 Jesus says that there is none good but God. This is in response to someone who comes up to Him asking a question, calling Him "good teacher." Jesus responds by saying "Why do you call me good? Only God is good!" There have been several people, including some Jews, who have said this verse shows Jesus is not God. However, what they fail to realize that Jesus acknowledges Himself as good. In John 10:11 Jesus acknowledges that He is the good shepherd. According to Mark 10:18 this makes Him God. If the JW's can show a verse calling anyone good who is not God, I will show you a contradiction. People in the Bible have been called "righteous" or "perfect", but this is implied with forgiveness from God. Can the JW's show me any verse saying that anyone who is not God is "good?" Using that word? I make a gentleman's friendly wager that they can't. I defy any JW reading this to show me a verse calling anyone who isn't God "good!" The thing that most JW's fail to acknowledge is that Jesus is called "good" using that very word.

Now I have done my own research to see HOW and WHY many Christians seem to believe Mark 10:18 proves Jesus is GOD.

Lets have a closer LOOK at Mark 10:18.

The Greek word for ALONE tells us in the Strong's Concordance means:

heis: ONE

Original Word: εἷς, μία, ἕν

Part of Speech: Adjective

Transliteration: he is

Phonetic Spelling: (hice)

Definition: ONE.

Usage: ONE.

So here in Mark 10:18 Jesus is confirming how His Father GOD is The ONLY One True GOD ALONE by Himself, and Jesus is excluding Himself from being GOD by Jesus saying  👉except God alone.👈

To be ALONE, means to be ONE being, ONE PERSON, by yourself, on your own, which is not difficult to understand, for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear as Jesus said!

What Jesus tells us here in Mark 10:18 confirms with countless other teachings throughout the whole Bible including what Jesus tells us in places like John 17:3

As we have also seen, there is nothing whatsoever saying GOD is TWO or THREE persons called the Trinity!

Jesus clearly denies he is God here in this verse by insisting only God is good. Since there is only one God, his God, Jesus was necessarily referring to HIS God. Being addressed as "GOOD Teacher," Jesus responds that no one is GOOD but God alone. He is responding to being called "Good TEACHER." Hence, the subject matter is not moral goodness but his good teaching. Jesus tells us many times his words and his teaching were not his own but the Father's who sent him. By contrasting himself with God, and by saying no one is good but God alone with respect to his teachings, Jesus was denying that he is God.

It is written in the prophets, "And they shall all be taught by God."

Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to me.

I have never told this Little Boy who Jesus is, or that Jesus is not GOD, and so what he tells us in this video, is what he believes.

The Little Boy says: Jesus is the Son of GOD.

I then ask him: Is Jesus GOD?

NO! he tells us.

Well done I say to him.

The simple question is, how does this simple little boy, know the simple truth of Jesus, when most Christians do not know or believe the simple truth of Jesus, and say Jesus is BOTH GOD and the SON, which would mean GOD is the Son of Himself!

The truth is:

God the SON, is a false Christ, 1 John 2:22.

The SON of GOD, is the true Christ, John 10:36.

Jesus can't be both, GOD and the SON when Jesus was Begotten from GOD!

If Jesus were GOD, that would simply mean GOD Begot and gave Himself.

When John 3:16 clearly and plainly tells us how GOD gave His own Begotten SON, and NOT Himself.

That false doctrine (GOD the SON) makes a false Christ!

1 John 5:5 tells us: Now who is the one overcoming the world, except the one believing that Jesus is the Son of God?

Notice how we do NOT read: Now who is the one overcoming the world, except the one believing that Jesus is God? But the SON of GOD.

Jesus said: Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand! Matthew 11:15.

Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the SON of God? 1 John 5:5.

The TRUTH is!

There are NO such teaching saying we MUST BELIEVE Jesus is GOD or A TRINITY, but as St john has said: but he that believeth that JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD? 1 John 5:5.

Notice we MUST believe Jesus is THE SON OF GOD 1 John 5:5.

And yet MOST have been DECEIVED into believing the CATHOLIC doctrine that Jesus the Son of His GOD, is instead the SAME GOD He was Begotten from, which makes GOD and His SON into LIARS, who have always declared they are a LITERAL Father and SON, and that GOD amazingly GAVE and SENT His SON, who BOTH have never taught, GOD GAVE HIMSELF, as a sacrifice for the sins of the world, but that GOD gave His BEGOTTEN SON Jesus, NOT to condemn us, but save us by GODS own Son PAYING THE PRICE FOR OUR SINS.

And as Jesus has said: ETERNAL LIFE is believing His Father GOD, is the only ONE TRUE GOD, alone. John 17:3. Which is the FIRST commandment one MUST believe, that GOD IS one person, NOT THREE CALLED THE CATHOLIC PAGAN TRINITY,  Mark 12:29.

Deuteronomy 4:35

It was shown to you so that you might know that Yahweh is God. There is no one else besides him. 

This ONE single scripture of Deuteronomy 4:35, PROVES the TRINITY is false, because the TRINITY teaches there are THREE Gods SIDE by SIDE, and not ONE GOD.

Did you see that:  we have an advocate (WITH the Father), Jesus Christ the Righteous One. 

We do NOT read we have an advocate (who IS GOD the Father Jesus the Christ), but that the advocate who is The Begotten SON (of GOD) Jesus, and NOT who IS GOD, but who IS WITH GOD the Father.

However, The Oneness Pentecostal faith believe Jesus IS the father, and believe Jesus is GOD, which is believing in a false God and a false Christ.

We continue with 1 John 2:2

And He is the propitiation for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for those of the whole world.

3 And by this we know that we have come to know Him, if we should keep His commandments. 

Lets stop there!

John said: if we should keep His commandments. 

What commandments. 

Lets now turn to the greatest commandment in  Deuteronomy 6:4 saying: Hear, Israel: Yahweh is our God; Yahweh is ONE. and ONE means ONE (PERSON), NOT THREE.

However, the TRINITY faith believe GOD the Father is THREE PERSONS,

and therefore BREAK the first and greatest commandment of GOD also given by Jesus in Mark 12:29!

This means the TRINITY faith also believe in a false God and a false Christ.

The truth is, GOD the Father is GOD ALONE.

This means The Oneness Pentecostal faith, and the TRINITY faith who both believe Jesus is the same ONE TRUE GOD Almighty, therefore CONTRADICT the word of GOD and the Bible's teachings, as GOD the Father and His word plainly and clearly say and teach countless times Yahweh the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is The ONE TRUE GOD by Himself, and GOD on His own, and Father and creator ALONE, in many verses like Job 23:13, Isaiah 44:24, Isaiah 46:9, Isaiah 45:5, Isaiah 43:10, Deuteronomy 32:39, Psalm 18:31.

With all that in mind, what did John continue to say in 1 John 2:4?

  The one saying, “I have known Him,” and not keeping His commandments, he is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

HOW DOES GODS NAME DISPROVE THE TRINITY?

Not only is the Trinity a MASSIVE contradiction, a confusion, and an ENORMOUS deception, there is NOT a single verse THROUGHOUT the whole Bible saying GOD is THREE PERSONS called the TRINITY!

NOT only does the whole Bible teach Yahweh GOD is ONE BEING, GOD ALONE, The Creator on His own, The Father GOD alone, BY HIMSELF, with NO GOD BESIDES Him, Exodus 8:10, Exodus 9:14, Isaiah 44:24,1 Corinthians 8:6, Isaiah 46:9.

Yahweh The Only GOD, has also a name above all Names, above all Gods, above all Kings, above all Powers, above all Authorities, which is Yahweh GOD's name ALONE, devoted to Yahweh GOD on His own, that NO ONE else has, or could EVER gain and NEVER own.

Now we know why Yahweh, The One True GOD, is the only person who is called The MOST HIGH:

Psalm 97:9 

For you, Yahweh, are most high above all the earth. You are exalted far above all gods.

Yahweh's Divine name, 

is the one and only: 

The ONLY TRUE GOD.

The Greek word for (ONLY) means ALONE, ONE, for ONE PERSON, and The ONE TRUE GOD.

Here in John 17:3, Jesus as the Only Begotten SON of GOD, is confirming the name of Yahweh, proving the divinity of His Father, by revealing a divine truth, by defining His GOD as being The ONLY (ONE PERSON) who is The ONE TRUE GOD alone.

The simple truth is, Yahweh's Divine Name on its own, proves how Yahweh GOD, is ONE BEING, individually GOD, who is singly, exclusively, uniquely alone, on His own, instead of THREE called the TRINITY.

When the truth is admitted, If GOD were THREE called the TRINITY, GOD's name would simply be: The THREE TRUE GOD, and NOT, The ONLY TRUE GOD.

The ONLY TRUE GOD, means and Identifies what it says and proves, that Yahweh The ONLY TRUE GOD, is ONE GOD, ONE PERSON, ONE GOD ALONE, and GOD on His own, BY HIMSELF The Only True GOD, by ONE SELF, who is uniquely, exclusively, and no one but, The Almighty GOD and creator alone.

Never, ever, does the Bible teach, The ONE TRUE GOD, or The Only TRUE GOD, is a Triune GOD, or a TRIAD GOD, or THREE GODS, or THREE PERSONS, or a tritheism GOD, or a TRIO GOD, or a threesome GOD, or a trilogy GOD, or a THREE BEING GOD, or a triplet GOD, or a triunity GOD, or a TRINITY.

The truth is!

The whole Bible declares The ONLY TRUE GOD is a single being, 

and The ONLY ONE GOD ALONE.

God is one Person!!!  There are thousands and thousands of singular personal pronouns for God

Do you know what a singular personal pronoun means?

“God” appears 4, 444 times, and never means a Triune God.  So no one in the Bible meant a triune God when he said GOD!

Please produce a verse where GOD = Two or Three Persons.

The creed of Jesus and the Bible in Mk 12:29 is unitary monotheism

Jesus then quotes the massively important Ps 110:1 to show that the one at the right hand is NOT God!

That would make two GODS one talking to the other!!

No one has seen GOD, as we know although Moses saw him partially

But “no one has seen God at any time”   That includes Jesus if you say Jesus is God.

Most Christians refuse to believe, what the true Bible scholars of today believe.

I Simon was a deceived Trinitarian myself and would not believe the true Bible scholars like Anthony F. Buzzard.

So what chance do I have, with anyone believing what I believe.

And what did the greatest Scientist believe?

History’s greatest scientists, Sir Isaac Newton believed, the  trinity was a flagrant violation of the First of the Ten Commandments.

 And the Catholic Church had returned to idolatry.

“Newton's theological investigations convinced him that the doctrine of the Trinity was bogus, a successful deception by St. Athanasius in the fourth century.

Newton argued that the Scriptures had been altered and early Christian writers had been misquoted to make it appear that Trinitarianism had been

the original faith.”

But what about GODS prophets, what did they say, teach and believe?

Hezekiah prayed before Yahweh, and said, "Yahweh, the God of Israel, who sit [above] the cherubim, YOU ARE THE GOD, EVEN YOU ALONE of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth. 2 Kings 19:15. 

Job 23:13, said: BUT HE ALONE IS GOD, And GOD IS [UNIQUELY] ONE.

Isaiah 44:8 says: Is there a God besides me? And yet Trinitarians say GOD is NOT GOD ALONE, as there are another TWO beings who are also GOD beside GOD, which means GOD is not [UNIQUELY] ONE.

Sadly most of Christianity do not believe what GODS great prophets taught and believed, or even what Jesus believed, that His Father is the Only One true GOD alone John 17:3.

I am crying for most of Christianity who are slowly spiritually dying, who refuse to believe they are in a false religion, that DENIES the Christ, and DENIES the Father and the SON 1 John 2:22.

While the only one who is laughing, is the Devil all the way to HELL.

Revelation 12:9

And the great dragon was thrown out, the ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, deceiving the whole inhabited world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

It was shown to you so that you might know that Yahweh is God. 

There is no one else besides him.
