Was King Solomon’s Wall Really Discovered in Jerusalem?

National Geographic Daily News Announce, a 3,000-year-old defensive wall has been excavated on the edge of Jerusalem—between the Temple Mount.

Archaeologist say the stone barrier is a part of a defensive complex built by the famous son of the biblical King David, King Solomon.


The wall has a gatehouse, adjacent to a building, and Ceramics where found to the second half of the tenth century B.C.—King Solomon's time, according to Eilat Mazar, who led the dig for the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
